  I think people should just conceptually bake the extra $50 into price of the room. It is what it is. The bottom line cost is what matters. That you paid w/ points and also wanted an upgrade to a *Diamondhead View* room is wild. You're paying w/ points at a Sheraton and whining the whole time lol

  As a native of San Jose and well traveled in the area until I was 65 years old, I recognized that place right away. I mean, who doesn’t?…….8-) The State was beautiful before it became an open sewer. I moved to another state to escape the madness. But I do miss the beauty and the amazing climate!

  The fact that many hotels there are expensive as it is and charge resort and parking fees on top of that drives me away from hotels altogether and look for an apartment or condo rental that includes free parking as well as a kitchen that includes a full-size refrigerator and everything I need to cook my own meals if I want to instead of being dependent on restaurants all the time while I'm there.

  Hi Cris, Jeff here. It appears that you were traveling solo on this cruise. I'm also a solo cruiser and was just wondering how you felt on the cruise with all the families and looks like a fair amount of kids on board? Also, is there anything you recommend doing in the ports or things you thought were a waste of time/money and wouldn't do again? Thanks for your time.

  I did the tram in Juneau. I would not do it again. very expensive....There was not a lot of kids on board. If you've never done an Alaska cruise I definitely recommend a roundtrip out of seattle.

  I think the room and the view that you got was beautiful! We’ve been to Waikiki recently, and all the hotels there have resort fees. Other hotels have higher resort fees and parking than Sheraton. I mean, you have to consider that if you go to a tourist destination like Waikiki, you kinda have to expect all these extra fees. I think that it’s very well known that Hawaii is an expensive destination.

  Fabulous Cruise and Entertainment, I'm just off the Freedom of the Seas Cruise 3 Weeks Ago Coco Cay / Nassau Bahamas. We didn't have any rain like in your video or weather conditions other than 2 Minutes rain walking on to Chill Island, we were already dry by the time we reached the Harbor Beach Bridge. Kudos to the Captain and All Crews they made it Fantastic the whole time.

  Yeah but we didn't get any idea of what is included in the deal; what is free and what you have to pay for. Basically, it's just a tour of the ship. So pretty useless really.

  @@MsChrisep I don't need to ask, I have since done a 7 day cruise on the Quantum of the Sea in February this year and the ship is absolutely fantastic and the crew and staff were great and nothing was too much trouble for them. I can confirm that the Bumper cars are free most activities are free. The food is great and both buffet and dining room food is excellent. I didn't dine in any of the restaurants that were not free but friends of mine did and said it was not too expensive but also said they prefered the food in the free dining room but of course, that is just their opinion. I have travelled on many cruise ships and admit this is the best cruise I have experienced; The ship is huge and breathtaking. I only went on a short cruise from Brisbane to Cairns and the ship is so big it cannot dock in Cairns but docked some distance away and had to get ashore by tender which took half an hour and then half an hour on a bus to reach Cairns.

  Not really with a ship that size. The weather would have to be bad. If you're prone to motion sickness go for middle of the ship and lower floor.
