Feel free to look up my instagram account: geirhellandphotography.
My videos are often composed of photos and film in and of nature. I like taking pictures of plants and animals, but also find great pleasure in seeing details, lines and patterns in nature. Sometimes I make underwater videos from dives along the Norwegian coast or from the Red Sea.

Excellent Photos and Video! Thanks!
Hvor I Finnmark er dette?
Baby lions sure are the cutest things in the world 😊
❤❤❤

The circle of life is so amazingly convenient The elephant commits suicide just in time for the lions to eat.
That male is a TANK
Are they barbary?
I was under the impression that an elephant mother and her group would kill lions that attack their young.
Maybe it got separated from its group in one way or another.
Up to a point they will. If it's injured or sick they may defend it for awhile but eventually they'll move on. If it gets separated it's on its own
Beautiful! I spent my New Years in the Rockies cross country skiing, I would have crashed at least 40 times on this route you took.
Amazing lion interactions. They are very affectionate towards each other. Thanks for posting this!
Lions sure are temperamental when they eat! Don’t screw with them!
Amazing, so beautiful
Sekekama's son 👍
They are so beautiful
Ah, this seems clever. While I understand that you would go on such a trip, and I'd do it too without any questions, but having been to Svalbard a couple of times myself I also know that the Governor doesn't appreciate it when you seek out the polar bears like this. In fact, it is illegal to seek them out with this purpose.
It pays to remember that a polar bear will NEVER turn down an easy meal.
Flott i Finnmark. Når på året var dette. Ser tidlig ut?
Rundt St.Hans. Da har som regel isen gått, og myggen ikke klekket ut enda 🙂
Fantastiske bilder, Geir!
Takk for det Christian 🙂
If she gets too hungry, how does she choose which cub to eat?
Fantastic film. A stunning and magical place.
Walrus babies are called “calves.” Use the word “cub” when you talk about any one of a number of meat-eating mammal babies: lions, bears, leopards, etc.
Fabulous photos! I'm in the process of booking a holiday up to Svalbard for June 2024 and your photos have me very excited. Thank you so much for sharing!
Se Ferrari 488 ko thấy về nhà
Viết rồi se ô tô ko về nhà ko nói gì tôi
Superb.....No doubt the best video of Svalbard
Flott film og nyddelig tur - takk for tippsen!
Looks fantastic Geir,,
Thank you John. You have to come and see it some time 😊
Takk for at du deler magiske majestetiske øyeblikk
Bare kjekt det Kristin. Kanskje jeg kan lokke noen til Lofoten 🤗
I'm so envy. Would have loved to have these photo and film opportunities. I don't think that female whalros get that long tusks. It must have been a male with cup :)
Forget what I wrote about the length :) They can get almost as long as the tusks of male whalrus.
This is so beautiful, just what I needed , thank you!
Great video and photography, especially of the mother and her cubs.

My family has caved to my Polar Bear obsession. We have booked a cruise to Norway and then head to Svalbard!!! Outstanding video!
I found some of the Bears thin?!?😮 am I wrong? The male looked very healthy 😊 mama and her cubs looks good too.
Thank you Geri those images were amazing. We are coming to Svalbard in June 23. Cheers from Adelaide, South Australia.
Polar bear habitat is not being destroyed. In fact, their populations are at an all time high since first being recorded.
Come to Churchill Manitoba. Step outside and wander around. You don't have to watch them from boats to get wonderful pictures. They will be on your doorstep.
Very interesting 👍
Beautiful pictures.. very inpressive!!! Thank you!!
Not one encounter all sightings...click bait
The big male clearly looks like it is eating well
Beautiful photos of the polar bears x
It is so sad to see these bears always looking for a meal to survive. Not realizing that humans are destroying their habitat which they have no control over. Watching this was awesome and thank you for sharing. Stay safe, warm, and blessings.
It’s so annoying that every time you want to just enjoy some nature, somebody ALWAYS has to bring up the environment, or animals becoming extinct, or humans suck, or trees burning, or garbage in the water, or hunting, or fish dying, or people living, or just fucking having to spoil the fun with CONSTANTLY CRYING AND BITCHING about SOME damn thing. Give it a damn rest!
Polar bears are moving south, learning to survive by finding new prey and mating with grizzly bears. Humans are included as part of their diet. So, save your tears.
Absolutely stunning! I love the photos with the polar bears making eye contact
Me too 😊
They are just sizing up their next meal. :)
Great shots, beautifully edited, very nice compositions, fantastics birds. ♥🪡
