No a service loop is for when that wire burns up in 25 years and it needs to be trimmed guys like you that leave those wires short are hated by anybody that's a professional technician the has come back behind you and 5 to 10 years and deal with your mess

No locks is useless if you don't remove the oxidation that is already formed around the wires. Prove me wrong.

They are supposed to reduce load on the transformer before closing the links, or if in doubt that the transformer is faulty to open and close at the feed circuit breaker which operates at a very faster closing/ opening speed and has arc suppression oil or SF6 gas.

I agree with those below if the plaster or stone is really crumbling that gadget will let go its grip and become s loose piece of metal among live wires ud sooner fit s new junction box raelpuggrd properly into the masonry wires wires wires.
