Loved this pattern, made it for my new baby niece. Only thing is the free pattern doesn’t explain how to do the eyes and nose at all, I’m an experience crocheter but never made amigurumi so was very confused. Had to follow other KZread tutorials but the proportions weren’t the same. Very much appreciate the free pattern but just some feedback 😊
Thank you for this tutorial. My Amigurumi will be so much neater using this technique. ❤
You are very welcome! :-)

Yes, I always do :-)

how long should it take to make?
Hi, I would say a few hours but it depends on how experienced you are as well.
@@cuddlystitchescraft oh ok, thank you!
You are welcome :-)
Thank you for the pattern but I’m having difficulty when it comes to joining the bigger wing to the smaller wing. Can you do a video tutorial for this please as I’ve done most of it and it doesn’t look anything like the demonstration picture. Thank you 🙏
Hi, I have a short video tutorial on how to connect the wings. It is not edited and published on YT yet but here is the link in the meantime. I hope this will help. :-) drive.google.com/file/d/1PDgJ6umrkRKvczYY2285RkMR6ndm_EOh/view?usp=drivesdk
Were is video?
Hi, this is a free pattern, not a video. Here is the link to the free pattern. www.cuddlystitchescraft.com/free-crochet-giraffe-lovey-pattern/
is it supposed to have pointy nose?, mine become pointy. i dont know if i did something wrong or am i at the right path
Hi, the shark is supposed to have a rounded nose, not a pointy one. Maybe you skipped a round when working on the first few rounds?
Where’s the tutorial?
Hi, you can find the written tutorial here: www.cuddlystitchescraft.com/free-crochet-butterfly-pattern/
Hola, donde veo el turorial para el tiburon ?

Do I have to see the the green stuff on the body or not
Hi, do you mean if you have to sew on the green belly? Yes, you will need to sew it on or you can also glee it with a fabric glue or hot glue gun if you are not keen on sewing. :-)
Hi, I am loving this pattern, thank you! I am currently confused about the tail and keep getting the wrong number of stitches, how do you separate the tail in half?
Hi, thank you! :-) you can use multiple stitch markers to mark the stitches to split the tail. Mark the first and the last stitch for each tail fin and that should help. :-)
@@cuddlystitchescraft this helped, thank you! :)
Perfect, happy it helped! :-)
When I close this way, the bottom wrinkles. What could I be doing wrong?
Hi Crystal, do you mean the opposite side of the ball? I think you need to add more stuffing so when you close the whole it’s nice and tight and doesn’t wrinkle. Hope it helps. :-)
Woww! I like it…What toy are you making?
Thank you, this is a lamb I started and still have to finish! :-)
Ok thank you
You are welcome! :-)
could you make video how to make it
Hi, I will put this on my to do list but it won’t be done straight away as I have other projects in progress. Sorry
Thank you so much 💜
You are very welcome! :-)
I tried ordering PDF but this pattern is not the one that comes up,for purchase.
Hi, sorry you are having issues ordering the PDF. I tested all the links and they seem to work fine and link to the correct hippo pattern. Here is the link again: cuddlystitchescraft.etsy.com/listing/1042698202
Thank you for the free pattern!
You’re welcome 😊
Please can you did a real cheetah crochet pattern?
Hi, I will put that on my to do list but it won’t be ready until later on this year as I already have several projects in progress. Sorry.
Why the links isn't working 😢
Hi, I have tested the links for the hippo pattern and they seem to work fine. But here is the link for you again: www.cuddlystitchescraft.com/free-crochet-hippo-pattern/ Hopefully this one will work for you! 🤞
Is there a video for how to do the skirt??
I’m sorry but I don’t have a video for that. :-(
This is exactly what I needed. Thank you so very much!
You are very welcome! I’m pleased my video was helpful. :-)
Thank you
You are very welcome! :-)
Can u make this pattern but a little bit smaller
Hi, I won’t be able to rewrite the pattern but you can always use a thinner yarn with a smaller hook to make a smaller owl.
Thank you
You are welcome! :-)
When do I switch to white during the rounds? I am on R36 right now Also, I read the instructions for the placing the safety eyes and I am bit confused
Hi, the belly is made separately so first you crochet the whole shark in grey and then you crochet the belly in white and sew it together. I have a video tutorial on how to indent the eyes here: www.cuddlystitchescraft.com/indenting-eyes-amigurumi-crochet/ I hope this helps but please let me know if you have more questions. :-)
@@cuddlystitchescraft Thank you so much for replying! That helped! Quick question: I don’t understand the pattern for the fins, how am i supposed to like split it? when i chain 10 do i just flip it over and continue working on that 10 but when i tried this i couldn’t finish some rounds cause i was out of stitches
Hi, really happy I was able to help! :-) when working on the tail, you don’t need to chain at all. When you come to the point where you need to split the tail, you are left with one big circle (round). So you need to split this round into two smaller rounds of 10 stitches each. You first create one smaller round and continue crocheting that round only to create the first tail fin. Once that is done, you go back to where you split the tail and you start crocheting the second smaller round and continue to crochet the other tail fin. I hope this helps but please let me know if you have more questions.
@@cuddlystitchescraft Thank you so much!
Pleasure! :-)
this helped me a lot rn thank you!!
I’m happy to hear that! You are very welcome! :-)
I am sad because on the tutorial doesn't mention whento change color for the belly.
Hi, when working on the shark you crochet the shark body in one colour first and then you crochet the belly in white separately. So you don’t actually change the colour while working on the body.
