Hey you! My name is Vivian from the Paper Letter Blog, and I'd like to describe this place as a super CHATTY penpal channel! With my videos I share my biggest hobby: making snail mail + penpal letters. I'm lucky enough to receive mail from a lot of you through my P.O. box: so apart from my own videos I do mail opening videos as well. During my videos I'll talk about the mail I'm making or opening, but I also enjoy chatting about personal life, my cats (you'll see them sometimes, too!), the anxiety/mental health lessons I'm learning and other things. If this is something you enjoy, welcome to the community! Sharing content is something I really enjoy, but know that I'm just a girl with a hobby and not a business or company. So everything I say is me! :D

Where did you purchase the clear wax from? Great inspiration. Thanks for sharing
Hi Vivian, remember me? I sort of disappeared for a while (and at some point i had to start a new you tube so my name is different.. used to be Robin with some numbers after.. lol) i think i've been on your YT since then but i cannot remember...lol How have you been? Still loving your house? I am still pen palling but not crafting so much.. i do decorate my paper and envelopes but don't really make flip books anymore.. but i really want to get back into it. Because i have so many crafting supplies.. i need to use a lot of it up.. i cant just leave it here or throw it all out..lol.. So here i am trying to get inspiration! ❤❤
Love this, but based on the title I thought it was going to be animated, maybe a better title would be making a mini scrap book with recycled craft supplies
Ahhh that would've been cool as well, but this is a penpal flipbook! We all use this term for these little booklets we send through mail ☺️ as for the title, it says "snail mail video" right at the end 😁
Just subscribed! I read your description & was like I have to get to know her!🥰
Yes, it is very inspiring, thank you! I love simple versatile crafts that can hold a letter as well as some goodies and don't cost a fortune to be sent out, so this here fits perfectly!
Thought id pop a reminder for you hun as Im sure its annoying to not remember lol but a cousin is a parents siblings child and a niece/nephew is a siblings child. Sorry if i miss spelled anything, love your channel, currently making my way through all your playlists lol ❤
And incase i spelled sibling wrong its a brother or sister lol
Where did you get the tiny paper pads? You flipped through one at the 59 sec mark.
Oohh I love this, ao beautiful yet a simple technique, I hope to make one soon! Don't have the time nor the nerves to do something very elaborate, I enjoy the quick and simple ones more these days! Still they are so versatile and easy ro upgrade
Sorry, I'm really late to the party, but just wanted to say that I love this project a lot! Spontaneous ideas are the best and the colours are really pretty. I'm curious to know though how does the back look like? Do you usually decorate it, too? Or only write the recipient's name? I haven't crafted anything for about three years and I hope to pick it up soonish. Anyway, glad to see you back again, it's been a while!
So creative and colorful, love it!
thank you so much!!
Lovely mail!❤️
Can this be brought in uk?
I love your voice! You remind me of Loepsie, she's from the Netherlands.
I'm from the Netherlands as well 🥰😁😁 and thank you!!
I used my AlbumHandMade bags to create a birthday card-slice them open and wrap round cardboard then add your own wording. It was super cute.
I will be trying this...
this is the first video I've come across from you channel - I know it's been up for a while now - looks like about 8 months -so I'll have to check and see if there are newer ones! Because I really enjoyed it and YES! I did make these pockets! I love them. I really enjoy projects that use book pages and other things I have lying around! Thank you so much for the "thumbs up" video! PS I hope you enjoyed your trip to the US! I live in the US :)
That's so kind of you to say, welcome!! Hope you enjoy the penpal ideas - I am hoping to upload some newer videos soon :)

Welcome!
Hello! I just stumbled upon your video on accident and I relate to your chronic fatigue story. I've been tired for years without finding any reason or solution. I am going to take your advice now and see what comes of it. I'm wondering if things improved for you? Or if there's any tips you can give me from your experience?
I enjoy this very much
TORRES PETIT CAMILA FERNANDA ❤ PO BOX OPENING
very creative... i love it
I am so exhausted and strung out at the moment that I don't have time or energy for crafts, which makes me sad. But I had 20 mins while dinner cooked and I let myself watch your latest video and seriously, it calmed me and fed my soul! It's the only content I can fully focus on and actually zone out. Also probably helped even more that it was a vintage botanical themed make. I love it above all other styles! The collage printable is such a clever idea and I can't wait to buy it. 💕
I love your vlogs...❤ I haven't watched since the pandemic, but I will surely be sending a Happy Mail...😊
You get such pretty things from people!!!! I love how cute all the washi tape is.
Couldn't agree more! 😍
I love it when my kitties keep me company in my craft room 😻😻😻😻
Isn't it the cutest? Even though they make a mess sometimes 😂
So pretty.
Thank you 🥰
oh my gosh, so much inspiration as always! Love your printables, gorgeous. Sarah's wax seals are immaculate, the white ones, and I loved here idea of sending a booklet of embossed paper samples. I hope Noes helped a little, and that you are feeling way better now. I really don't like food shopping so I don't envy you that in the rain, especially as you were feeling unwell. Have you seen Bec's potluck prompts videos, they are getting a few of us feeling more motivated to craft again? Great video Vivster. hugs. x
Thanks for watching Ems, hope you've been well! It's ups and downs for me as always, can't wait for spring. And yes, I've seen a few! Such fun challenges.
I don’t penpal but I love your videos and I just started journaling again so I might have to do my own version of this ☺️
That's so fun! The original creator shared this as a journal pocket, so that should be perfect 🥰
I'm so glad to hear that you're doing better! I'm kinda wondering if winter may not have been part of the reason why I myself have been so down lately, as well. I guess we'll see as the weather turns! Speaking of your project, I think it's lovely! I'm really excited to see you using your printable. :) I have one question: did you put glue between the pockets, on the "seams" of the flipbook? It went a bit fast and I couldn't quite tell. ^^' Thank you for another easy yet fun and adorable project! <3
Thank you Tai 🥰 hummm, do you mean to make smaller, individual pockets instead of one large at the bottom? I don't think so, I'm pretty sure I just used the fold lines to keep them together... But would work either way, I think!
@@ThePaperLetterBlog Yes, that's exactly what I meant! Thank you for replying! ^^ I'm always worried my stuff will shift around if I don't glue down every little part of a project. ^^' If I had a sewing machine, I'd sew between the pockets, but alas, I don't. XD So maybe I will try both ways and see how I feel~ Thank you again!
Love your printable pretty flipbook not busy at all
Thank you Mary! 💕
I love your printable and I don’t think the project is busy at all. It is very pretty! I am happy you are feeling better and I hope the good vibes continue. Hugs!
That's so kind, thank you! 😍
I love the seals in the one letter. I wonder how she gets them so perfectly round?
Such a great idea of making pages out of the central circle😍
Gorgeous mail, Vivian. A wonderful lot of inspiration. I have definitely lost my mojo at the moment, and for a while now. I think mainly because I’m struggling to write letters currently so it’s seeped onto my want to make flatmail too. Always nice to see everyone else’s beautiful creations. Thanks so much for sharing 💖💖
Uggh, I know how you feel... But my parents gifted me a new fountain pen for my birthday (I've always used a fountain pen from my mom's old job, from 40 years ago!) and it's been so fun to write with 🥰
Such beautiful mail ❤
Im so glad you liked my mail . I made the craft paper myself and also with reciets i swipe ink on them so there's no personal info on them but still text. I Will try and figure out a way for them not to smudge . I dont have many supplies so i try and get as creative as i can with what i have. Thank you for showing my mail and enjoy all of the book pages
Oooooo I thought that black stain was from the receipt being exposed to heat!! I love repurposing things for my crafts, it's fun to get creative in that way 🥰
Thank you all for watching my new video 😍☺ so happy to share some more incredible mails that have been sent my way! Just as a reminder, you can find me on many more websites including instagram (@thepaperletterblog) and Pinterest (ThePaperLetterBlog), and I've started sharing some of my Patreon printables on Ko-Fi as well 😊 Links below!

Lovely mail cute charms
Thanks Mary, and I agree they're so cute!
Love this video and all of the goodies you received!
Thank you so much for watching, I loved opening these!!
Sorry the happy Halloween sticker was confusing … I used it purely for decoration purposes.
Ohhh don't worry, I just thought it was funny! And thank you for your mail 🥰
Third attempt at trying to comment.. 🤪 I am really happy that you liked my swap mail! Really enjoyed seeing your reaction to the charms too, I had SO much fun making those! The vellum baggie was indeed made with a stapleless stapler. It's from the Harinacs line by a brand named Kokuyo. I really love that I don't have to hide any glue lines when I use it 🥰 Highly recommend it!
Hehe we don't know what keeps going wrong... But thank you for watching & of course your pretty swap! The charms are so cute, I keep forgetting I have more (including pretty butterflies...) so this was a good reminder. And I'll be looking into the stapleless stapler for sure!!!
Finally catches video the moment it's uploaded! YAY! I can't wait to watch!
Yayyy, you're the first! Thank you for watching! 💕
Cool ideas.
Thank you!!
😍
Thanks for this tutorial! Where did you get the wood die-cuts that you used at the end?
You're so welcome Mary, thank you for watching! The wooden shapes are from our local dollar store (Action) or Sostrene Grene, which is where I got the white butterfly. But I think they're called "wood veneer die-cuts", maybe that helps!
Leuk idee! En gemaakt met Marjolein Bastin!😊🤗🥰
Dankjewel! En nu je het zegt ja, prachtige illustraties altijd!
