I got my D6+ just yesterday. Same problem the guy is mentioning in the video. There is no cover at the two sharing ports. Also the light is wobbling when I am riding. Guys the battery shutdown at Voltag 47. Is that normal?

@Flo Shmoney Ya, that 3K is a grip of money. I do like the bit larger size compared to the D6+. But, again, that 3K is a hard pill to take for a scooter.

D6+ owner for 1.5 years. Commute 16 miles a day 5 days a week. I sympathize with the concern over fit and polish with a $1600 price tag. I too had to rig a longer lasting charge port cover. I agree the headlight is a poor design (as I believe the shop owner might feel the same until it’s hopefully re-designed). I wanted new deck tape anyway and made new holes on the new tape. That being said, anyone who buys these scooters has to like tinkering as maintenance is key like anything else. I’ve taken good care of it and am trouble free minus the occasional flat tire. It handles beautifully and has great Nutt brakes. I went with hydraulic and I see you didn’t. I think they might be easier to adjust than the cable brakes too. Was worth the xtra cost. Hopefully you end up enjoying it. Been a lot of fun for me:)

@@landonaikin8214 Sorry for the delayed response. Almost 1800 miles. I have since gotten another scooter and split the time between the two. I’m still testing it but last week the battery may have had its first issue with its management system. Meaning at a certain voltage the scooter shuts down. Sign of a flaw in the battery I was told. Sometimes these batteries just need resetting and all is well. I’ll update this info when I finish testing. Aside from that it’s been reliable and fun to ride. Not sure but new batteries might run $300-500.

3300 miles d6+ rider my charging ports have no cover its gotten really wet and been in sandy trails and never had a charging problem, cut a hole in griptape to get to screws 🤦‍♂️ the lamp holder kindi sucks, buy supernova lampholder for it, call roadrunnerscooters on the phone when u have problem, but i understand why they might not respond back to ur emails, all scooters have brake sound problems you need to adjust them their bicycle brakes. Your nit picking small minuscular stuff. Its almost as you didint even reviewed the scooter on youtube before buying.

Um this scooter tends to shutdown if your going full speed for long time, the battery temp are too high the "BMS" Battery managenent sistem, shuts off power for 20min then it turns back on. Your surpose to let it cool down every now and then bro and this will not happen.

I purchased mine last March and had to adjust the breaks, mine did come with two rubber charging port covers but the one cover broke off already and I made my own plug from plastic. I also had to tighten the bolt hidden under the stem when folded down, I switched to street tires and it’s a smoother ride and grips the road a little better, the light does come loose from time to time.

@@dlr9031 that might cause the battery to age faster. Being that its dropping lower, requiring a longer charge. Same as if your phone is dead and you have to charge from 0-100% verses from 20-100%, more heat and more strain on the battery, thats why they put a built in cut off voltage of 43.

  • @dlr9031
