AHH Architects

AHH Architects

AHH was established in 1958 by Herman Hertzberger and is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. AHH is an all-round architectural office with a comprehensive portfolio that ranges from urban planning, housing, office, cultural, and educational buildings to fully detailed interior design. The office operates from the central idea that good design creates space in which the user feels welcome and at home, respected and challenged.

We are specialized in translating complex programs into an optimal design. During the design process we work closely with the client, future users and professional advisers. This approach results in unique projects that meet the client’s ambition.

The megalomaniac building has been empty for some time now. At the time, half the Apeldoorn village center was demolished for this purpose, including a 150-year-old farmhouse at the time where my grandmother lived. At 1:40 am, the conscious place behind the hot members, who are doing interesting things in the foreground, comes into view. The The mayor and aldermen of the time, of generally Christian signature, are hereby thanked again for this nonsense. A pop festival with half a million visitors, which was refused by the gentlemen at that time, would have put Apeldoorn better on the map. The only thing this concrete block still reminds of is that when something goes wrong, Apeldoorn should be called. And even that is no longer possible now because they have removed the phone.
