ScareTOUR is the UK's biggest scare attraction review site. We have been visiting scare attractions for over 20 years and always promise to bring you our honest reviews and news of all scare events - ALL year round!
I went to fear summer frights too. It was actually my first time at fear at Avon valley as I’ve never done the Halloween version but I’m thinking of doing it this October. I think the scariest maze was X4: Blackout, the most unique was The Core and the most intense and definitely my favourite was Vita Nova.

Yeah, over here in the States. You have the huge brands that have huge events, but they lack the smaller intimate details of the smaller parks. There are smaller themed areas in small towns that are much scarier. Cedar Park, Six Flags, Knott's Berry, and Dollywood do a decent job. They're probably still bigger than the UK parks, but are much less corporate than Disney or Universal.

Just speculating here , The dungeons might be knocked down/scaled down to make an entrance and or space for the new attraction in coaster corner

Hey! I work at the Amsterdam Dungeon. Out of curiosity , a colleague and I just had a quick peek online for any content of our attraction, and we stumbled across here! Really glad to see you enjoyed our tour. I remember that seasonal:) if you ever make it back to Amsterdam, you can let me know and I might be able to get you discounted tickets. I always appreciate enthousiastic tourists🙂🤙

It's only Universal haunted houses that operate this way. If you go to local haunts that are not at theme parks, they are more like the ones you're describing in the UK. Most haunted houses in the US don't have "scare buttons". It's clear that you have only been to Universal theme park/theme parks in general. You need to stop saying "the U.S." when you're referring to a very specific type of haunt attraction. (Which are U.S. theme park haunts)... Universal also can't separate groups going into their houses because the lines are already 2 hours long for a lot of the houses. Could you imagine how long they would be if they just let small groups go through at a time? Lines would be 4 hours long. Also, Universal is a multi billion dollar company and we (the US) are the Lawsuit capitol of the world over here. Hitting a button and having people have scripted rolls I'm sure takes away some sort of liability issue. Just my guess. 🤷♂️

Horror unleashed in the U.K. would be great! We don’t have many year round scare attractions there’s only really Blackpool and London where I know of some. A full park would be amazing though. I don’t think it would affect people visiting their local seasonal scare maze attractions.
@jnewcombe7 ай бұрын
Exciting time ahead! I think universal will keep their fingers on the pulse and do some research and maby a smaller HHN to test things out the first year then ramp things up?
@indiataylor59617 ай бұрын
They did a smaller event in Beijing to test the waters because horror isn’t popular in China :)

I went to see the new immersive show 'Ghost Hunt' by Screamworks yesterday evening. It was amazing including the meticulous details of the set and the overall acting from and the actors/actresses! Also i loved the combination of investigating and the jump scares from the characters! Yet another successful show from Screamworks!

I think your review is unfair. The 2nd attraction is called Insanitorium (we went on opening night) and the story was about a fake procedure that made the patients behave violently (like the rage virus). It was clear there was no intention to trivialise mental health. I also think it’s a bit out of order of you to call an actor “fat” to be honest.
@ScareTOURVideos9 ай бұрын
We're sorry if the term "fat" was deemed offensive but the actor was clearly put there by the producers to shock due to their looks. It was designed to make the guest feel uncomfortable, as a large semi naked and hairy man was thrusting himself at us.
