Marilyn from Tarot Clarity

My channel is primarily dedicated to historic tarot decks & HOW TO READ THEM! On occasion, I show modern decks, witchy stuff & other types of divination.

My channel was created for my children & descendants after I'm gone.

In the meanwhile, it seems other folks like my channel & I welcome you!

I've been interpreting tarot since 1975 or 76.

My business, Tarot Clarity LLC, is licensed & credentialed in the state of NJ.

You may visit my website to request a reading or tarot lessons. Tarot helps in many situations; finding lost objects, learning the history of an object, helping with decisions, or achieving peace after a loved one has passed over.

Most people seem to like my demonstration readings using TdM decks.

Please subscribe to my channel, share, and like my videos so I'll know I'm on the right track.

I hope you enjoy my videos!

Thank you Zoey. In my dream the threat was terrifying, but in the end, it was nothing. It seems obvious, but it wasn't until I saw the cards that I saw the obvious. The fun thing that the cards showed that the dream did not, is that what was perceived to be a threat was an asset, or maybe even a blessing. So that's how I'm trying to look at the challenge I think it relates to. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate your presence. ~ Marilyn

Dear Marilyn, this video is a perfect example of a reading that appears (for me) to reference your supportive, and kind video " Tarot Topics and demo reading". A video you created for the stalled tarot reader like me who has given up reading the tarot. This reading encourages me to delve back into my cards to help answer questions about an odd dream I had recently. Thank you for your kindness and inspiration to get back to my tarot. ~ Dee. P. S. I'm watching how your first video challenge #Tarot7Connection tag has grown day by day. Congratulations, the tarot folks are responding with genuine interest and thoughtful answers.

Hi Dee! One thing I've failed to make a point of, which I'll try to mention in future videos, is how tarot is available to everyone and not just collectors or professional readers. Everone should feel welcomed to buy an inexpensive deck and use it for their own personal insights. I'm appreciative of all the folks who have participated in my tarot challenge. I thought maybe one or two folks might have done it to be polite. But it seems the questions were interesting to a few folks and I've really enjoyed watching their responses. If the responders tagged me, I've included their links in my video so anyone who wants to watch all of them may. I am glad that my videos have meaning for you. Thank you for letting me know. xoxo ~ Marilyn

@KaraTarot-4enlightening I paid 85 euros for Charles VI which included shipping. I think that's under $100. I mean, it's not chump change, but compared to what lesser decks go for, it's a lot of value. Good bang for the buck.

Hi Marilyn, I really enjoy your narration in these 'Movies & Tarot' videos. A good storytelling style is a wonderful asset for a Tarot reader, and you're blessed in spades with that ability. "Meet cute" I'd never heard that description of a film before now. I learn new things everyday. I'm not many years older than you but my first Hollywood crushes were from the early 20th c. Richard Widmark and Tyrone Power. Widmark in his later Westerns especially with James Stewart and Power in any of his Swashbuckling films, that I know he grew to loathe. ~ Dee.

@@MarilynFromTarotClarity Wow that's special, sitting on Tyrone Power's bench style grave. I do wonder what kind of actor he may have become if he'd lived beyond 44? He loved the stage and became a pilot in The United States Marine Corps during WWII. What a life, a chain smoking womanising film star (when that meant more than it does nowadays), and a decorated Marine. Who else have you shared a moment with? ~ Dee.

  • @MarilynFromTarotClarity

@deelaity2917 Too many to name. He's in Hollywood Forever Cemetery so it's a wonderful park. Rudolph Valentino is there too, in a crypt. That cemetery has hundreds of old Hollywood. If you love Tyrone Power, I think you'll love his performance in Nightmare Alley which was his favorite personal performance and his favorite film. I did a video on Nightmare Alley and Tarot. I think it was one of my best videos tbh. The better Hollywood cemeteries that allow you to see your favorites are that one, Westwood Cemetery where Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon, Walter Mathau, Billy Wilder, Dean Martin and so many others. I found my favorite, Mary Astor in Holy Cross in Culver. Sharon Tate is in proximity to Mary Astor if I'm not mistaken, Bela Lugosi. So many! Frank Sinatra and William Powell are in a Cemetery in Palm Springs. If you ever go to CA look up the Hollywood cemeteries and spend a day or two finding your favorites!

@@MarilynFromTarotClarity Well you know what I'll be watching tomorrow, Nightmare Alley here I come. That's a great list of movie star graves you've seen, and one of them reminded me of my Mum. She was an excellent tailoress, so good in fact she would demonstrate in the Singer Sewing Machine shop in Nottingham. In the early 1950's Bela Lugosi played Dracular at the Nottingham Playhouse Theatre. He went into Singers to have a suit jacket altered, and Mum helped him several times. She always said he was a perfect gentleman. I've not thought about that story for many years. It amazes me the threads running through life, and how someone pulls on them at the most unlikely moments. ~ Dee.

  • @MarilynFromTarotClarity
    @MarilynFromTarotClarityКүн бұрын

@deelaity2917 wow! Now that's cool!! Bela Lugosi is an icon! There's a famous story about his funeral. Peter Lorre attended the funeral and I can't remember who he was standing next to, but he said, 'Should we drive a stake through his heart just to be safe?' Or something to that effect. The version of Nightmare Alley that Tyrone Power is in is the superior version of the film. But if you can get your hands on a copy of the book, it's top notch stuff. Extremely well written. And my video on the topic is pretty good too lol. ~ Marilyn

We make time for what's truly important to us, so I agree that if it was something that you truly wanted to do then you'd do it because you'd make it a priority. Sometimes we just need a break and we "should" on ourselves about the things we're not doing while we do other things instead. When we let ourselves relax and have that space guilt-free, suddenly we're driven to get it done and we do it. Great ideas for ways to practice doing readings. 🙏✨💜

I’m so glad to see this deck in use. I have this deck and it is so lovely, and I have a really wonderful book that uses this deck fir the illustrations... but I’ve been avoiding pips! Maybe it’s time... ? I am a musician (teacher/performer) with a few KZread channels, and... I find that I do sometimes use my videos as a way to avoid the tough practice sessions or the consistency. I heard you talking about choices and limited time. (I’m also a full time senior care giver, so very little time alone.) It may not relate to you, but if I ask myself why I’m not getting enough practice in, it’s because I’m choosing to work on a video rather than putting in that work (work that is more solitary, and takes more focus, and takes longer than creating a video)! I was just talking to someone about ways to spend time with your deck. Your readings are always inspiring.

Im definitely thinking im the fish 😂 3) a friends ex partner died very suddenly. She wondered if tarot could be a way to communicate a message he didn't have time to say. The first thing i asked was " do you have a message?" The death card came out, i laughed as knowing this man he was saying " I'm dead! What more do you need to know? " 4) pip style all the way, Angel Tarot 💕 5) spontaneous in person readings, those are the best! 6) seeing faces in clouds or trees 7) when you have a person who doesnt believe tarot knows anything and then they walk away after you give them a message that they can't deny its true .... that made me realise tarot is truly something special ❤ Thank you Marilyn this was good 🙏💜🙏

That's awesome Claire! I love some of your answers! You're right about clouds! I do cloud readings every time I'm outside! Especially poolside! I've even gotten my husband to do them with me. I love to imagine being the soothsayer of a bygone era and that I receive my messages through the clouds! It's so much fun!! Thank you for responding to my challenge. PS, I thought of pulling out and showing the Angel Tarot after I completed my video since I haven't shown it in a while. It's a wonderful deck. I'll have to use it in an upcoming video. ~ Marilyn

IN your first reading I felt Sebastian had chosen to leave with someone and was happy with his decision at that time. Seems that has changed! From this reading I feel that he now feels trapped and mistreated in his situation and unable to satisfy whatever is being asked of him and regrets his decision to leave!

In a nutshell, those cards tell he was unhappy and struggling with his situation and someone offered him a way out and to end his struggles, (death) he took it. Seems to me he is happy with this new situation with no plans to return home!

The Tower is so appropriate when one is leaving all that's familiar to them, going out of their comfort zone or walls. I like that about seeing the 8 of Coins as a solid "tower". This was interesting, thank you Marilyn! Many blessings. 🙏✨💜
