  The Olds 403 had decent power for that time and it was the only engine available after they ran out of Pontiac 400s. Automatic only for the Olds motor though. I felt sorry for the 80 and 81 buyers who only had the 305 Chevy engine or the boat anchor, short deck 301 Pontiac.

  Its cool. With only 26000 miles should last a while . However I'm not a great fan how's the Northstar engine. What time I saw a Northstar engine installed in the back

  The head bolt defect is fixable, but you have to remove the engine at great cost. If you’re lucky, the way to mitigate the problem is to be gentle with the throttle and don’t stress the engine. 2005 and newer Northstars have the defect corrected.

  Beautiful car well done. The reason no Challenger or Barracuda has a tilt wheel, is do to the collapsable steering column.

  Love this car, real sweet, but I will put in that it is not a Cutlass 442, 68-71 442 was a stand alone model, just for the record. My 71 442 vert is not, I repeat not a W 30, I`ve read that according to how many who claims their 442s to be W30s there are approx 10 times more nowadays then ever were manufactured, but I am sure this is the real deal. My car is a solid raw 442 muscle car that was sold new here in Sweden. I bought it 1982 back then painted in a 1970s custom paint scheme with its original Saturn Gold as base. By the way, I know a guy here in Sweden who has about a dozen of 442 W30s, all documented. Cheers from Sweden
