My friend has one and he was changing the pictures through an app on his phone. We uploaded some of his art through the app also
you can take any picture you just need to convert it into a BMP file (i think its called) or something a long those lines, my wife is into this stuff and she was telling me about it.

Hello, do any of your pixel poi sets have a remote?
Yes, these pois have a Wi-Fi sync module. You can run all props at the same time from one device. You just press a button on one LED device and all props will start at the same time. It can also be synchronized from an Android smartphone or iPhone, or a Windows PC.
