Yes, but why do they have pants legs that are too long?! Really elegant having your pants legs drag on the dirty street and sidewalk! Go see a seamstress and use your classy money to get your pants legs altered! Ditty with wedding dresses. Why do brides insist on having dresses that are too long? Why spend all that money when the length makes your dress came off the rack?

I like the waistcoat over the T shirt,I hadn't thought of that before, the problem for me (being a little older than the ladies in the pictures) is a waistcoat with just a bra is a bit too revealing for my everyday life. So thanks for the T shirt tip!!

Says someone who has no idea what elegance is - as in ‘clothes make the the man’. Yes indeed, have inner confidence but go out dressed as a dogs dinner and you might find that confidence gets eroded.

Those pleated skirts are ugly they always have been they always will be Im 76 amd they were hideous above my knees up on my thighs at 17 they are even uglier below the knee...just dont even if you are a size 0.

I doubt if you'll ever be able to look stylish without looking rich at the same time. I've been approached a lot of the time for financial assistance because of my outfit. Some of my church brethren call me rich sis. At first, I wonder why people think I'm rich until I came across series of classy outfit videos and realized, "oh! this is my style". You cannot connect cannot escape looking rich the moment you become intentional with how you style your outfit. 🙂🤗

I wouldn’t mix versions of warm and cool tones in a similar hue. Plus, one, either a cool or warm tone will suit each person better than the other.

Navy is not a neutral, but it’s a great basic color and a great alternative to black, which is too harsh for most women’s coloring. Relying on too much black is a bit of a cop-out, too. My favorite color to wear is always white, and a cooler-toned taupe is “my beige”. I also love light blues and greens and cool-toned, light pinks. I do wear a lot of neutrals and basic colors like navy, khaki green, cool taupe and browns, but an elegant wardrobe doesn’t have to be colorless. I prefer Soft, Cool and Light colors because they suit my personal coloring best, this overrides color trends or specific style-linked colors, in my opinion. Your tips are good ones, and ones I have always based my own wardrobe on. I can only wear natural fibers/materials, also, and I think they look so much better, because they are. Synthetics have no intrinsic value and always look cheap, because they are.

I don’t know about you ladies…but walking around looking like you have the bucks can get you mugged, car jacked, or worse. I am sticking with my normal lady outfits. Attracting zero attention. These are bad times that we are living folks. You can’t even walk in the grocery store these days without people trying to steal your wallet from your purse, while you are reaching to pick up some food items. Lay low.

Sorry, but chunky sandals do not appear classy and chic…they may be comfy, but do not look polished. They look awkward and heavy, drawing the eye downward away from the upper part of the body and take away from the elegance of the outfit.
