Cool stuff, but it went by too quickly.
Was this in montana or wyo?
Both
Love this!!
Beautiful video
Thanks so much
Love it!! Jesus is Lord!!!
What diameter mono do you use to make weed guards? For example, what would you use for a Size 6 streamer vs 1/0 saltwater fly to bounce off coral in Hawaii?
This has become my favorite channel by far!
i have the brush but do you have a vid on the first part of the crab?
Great photography, enjoyed this. Not much info on your actual fishing techniques or equipment. Would have like to heard more about that. Great job overall
Enjoyed this, good tip.
No weight?
Awesome!
Story of my life 😂 when the dry aint hittin get the nymphy out
I just fished with micah and was so impressed. We had a great day and caught some amazing fish.
This is top notch in every way; from filming to content!
Your video quality is excellent! Thanks for sharing!
Where exactly did you start?
Got dropped off about a mile outside cedar key and then ran into the woods.
@BackwaterFlyFishing I live right there so it's awesome you guys are out exploring the jungle! Yeeee!
EPIC! Looks like such a good time!
Where is the 'like' button on this video? Good video, fly seems more complicated than needed but I am sure it will catch Reds. Like your version of the Midnight clouser better. Great job! Enjoyed this.
So good
Jesse, I realize it’s a load of work, but please make a longer video - something with some fly fishing action that you know is a bit crazy and set into a nice peaceful glide of a video. Quick views of some family stuff, tying the fly, preparing the boat and equipment, some of the ride to destination, launch, motoring out, fly selection and knot tying, then sighting the quarry, the cast, the hook up, the landing, the photo op, the camaraderie and so on… Some nice music to emphasize the moments shared with your viewers setting the mood and tempo that whisks us away and along for the ride. I’m staying tuned. And why do my hands smell like fish?…
We fished last March and the Machuka “dry fly” fishing was amazing. Loved it, very unique but they fight hard. Love the howlers creating the hatch for us
Great video Jesse! What a beautiful place. Have a great one. 🎣
Nice slabs in that section. Caught a train of a 26" a couple years ago just below the dam.
Hey Jesse. It’s been a while, but you come back with a gem! You’re definitely coming into your own with style and talent. Nicely done.
The is so much for the kind words and for following along on my adventures!
The slow mo line pick up from the water shot…. Bruh. How did you get the light so perfect for that shot. You’re a wizard. Sick edit.
Fire 🔥
Wonderful film Jesse!!! Great storytelling. :)
Very nice Jesse!! Glad to see you again, even if it is on film. :) Hope to see more and more of your film work.
I was expecting fly fishing.
Very difficult to fly fish from the kayak in the ocean in these scenarios. In most cases here we throw poppers with spinning gear.
Nice video! Excellent editing which made the video move along and keep the viewer interested! I like the idea of synthetic materials because they don't absorb the water and become too heavy to cast. I like to pike fish and I can see how the same approach could be used to make flies twice as long!
Awesome video
Be helpful to see how to build the brush
Nice easy tie . Thanks for sharing
Great information!
Great film Jesse. I have known Dan Blanton for a long time. He has told me many stories about Casa Mar and I’ve seen the pictures. You really brought it all together in this film. Great stuff!
I actually have a sequel to this film that I interviewed Dan Blanton for. It should be released sometime in the next year or so.
They can get 3 feet long and weigh 14 kg
Such an inspiring content guys !
The video and podcasts have greatly impacted the speaker's life, helping them become a better man for their family and bring them closer to God, especially their 8-year-old daughter.Have a great weekend✨💖
What if you have to drop a growler?
Very nice sir. Where do you get the monofilament eyes?
I make them at home with glitter
man. watched it again and enjoyed it just as much as the first time
I'm getting a SUP soon to use around the marsh near my house and hopefully out at Chandeleur Island
Completely incredible ! One thing I do not really like tho is the blue tarp ... a forest green one would have been perfect ! It still looks like to be the dream up there
Amazing footage, edits, real story! Thanks, it was a pleasure to watch!
What hook?
So could I buy a handful of those from you?
This is really great! Great video of two great men.
Very clear directions, thank you. But how do you get the eyes to compact the fibers and what glue do you use? Thank you.
Best gurgler video I’ve seen that wire free fox brush seems unreal keep it up 👍
