Dry, boring, slow. I LOVE this subject. Clicking off less than ⅕ into video. Jesus guys, if you aren't naturally entertaining, write a script, at the very least an outline... This is like pulling teeth.
❤
Very interesting, nice introduction to the subject 🙌🏻
👏🏼👏🏼
Great Elinore! 👏🏼👏🏼
Shout out to Joey Naeger! Great interview Nisse!
@@davidcraig6590 🙏 appreciate it !
Noooo 😆

❤️👍❤️
Another great interview with Dave Swift. It's also appreciated to hear that even pros struggle with fingering when playing new music. So I'm not entirely alone in struggling with fingering sometimes.
Thanks, Martin! Spending some extra time with fingering is never wrong.
Great interview with Dave. I'm looking forward to additional parts of this interview.
Thank you for this! Forgive me for correcting, but I'm almost certain that these strings are Gerold Genssler Corax strings, which aren't real gut. I love them though and I use them myself!
Hi Matt, thanks for that spot on comment! ( I have to double check the english translation if we called them gut strings.) They definitely are Sonores Corax where the the core is stabilized silk, nothing else. Sadly they are not available at this point. Thanks for the heads up! //Nisse
Wow, must watch, two bass heroes! 😎

What a legend! 🎉
he shure is, some nice stories here!
So true! I have some unusual ideas...
Excellent video, thank you. South Africa is desperately in need of qualified repairers & restorers of orchestral stringed instruments. There are only 2 of us that have qualified at Violin Making School and done some sort of apprenticeship. We are both absolutely inundated with work and both of us getting old/tired and wanting to retire. To make matters worse, there are many less that talented amateur repairers that are destroying instruments. The musicians have no idea but they need help, South Africa is a large country with centers far apart with only the 2 of us in Cape Town. This is particularly problematic for double bass players. Any idea is welcome, please.

Thank you - I have done just that. Regards, Jimi
