I was the division controller working with mostly men. Of course, the secretary and I were in charge of birthdays, holiday celebrations. Hopefully things have changed in the last 20 years.😂

When I was living on my won and had no other responsibilities after work, I loved just hanging out. Maybe I was just too lonely. Now with a kid, it’s impossible for awhile.

I just wanna know where ppl get the time and energy to go do a bunch after work. I go home, take care of the house, eat, watch tv or play video games for an hour or two, and go to bed. During the school semesters, you can replace the watch tv/video games part with class and homework.

I’m a millennial, I never go in on Monday’s or Friday’s. I usually select Tuesday’s or Wednesday’s. Luckily, I only go in on Tuesday’s now.

I agree with the whole “if they can fire me with out notice then I can quit without notice.” But I think it’s more important to be able to use the company as a reference and be eligible for re hire if you ever need.
