One of the deepest ironies about Jackie’s death that people tend to forget is nobody actually forced her out; she attempted to force Shauna out, and when that didn’t work she headed out on her own, and threw Tai’s attempt to stop her back in Tai’s face while saying Tai wanted this all along. Either it’s Jackie’s fault too, or it’s simply a shitty thing that happened that could have been prevented in a million ways. Also, Shauna never says she never liked Jackie. She said she didn’t like soccer, and that maybe Jackie didn’t really know her. Writing off their relationship as “Jackie good, Shauna bad” ignores so much of the amazing nuance in their mutually toxic dynamic.

An wrong thing in the film is that Vivian must, alone, take the strange worm out of her body. Couldn't the doctor have helped her with that, because it looks like at least 2 people should do the "surgery" and not do it alone? It will cost her life, and I'm not surprised why. 🤨

So many people try to place blame on Shauna for Jackie's death because they are judging her for sleeping with Jeff; however, they ignore the fact that Jackie told Shauna to get out of the cabin first. It was fine for Jackie to order her and her unborn child out of the cabin? Shauna never really expected Jackie to leave. They were both shitty friends to each other prior to the crash. Not that I condone Shauna's betrayal, but Jackie treated her like garbage. She put her down left and right because it made her feel good to do it. (Her treatment of both Jeff and Shauna likely led to their relationship.) Shauna loved Jackie despite it all. She has never forgiven herself for Jeff or telling Jackie to leave.

I've really enjoyed watching you watch one of my favourite seasons of TV! Your commentary throughout has been so thoughtful and emotional. If you react to S2 (which I didn't love *as* much, but still recommend), I'll be sure to check it out! As a middle-aged woman who's about the same age as our characters, I can't help but sympathize with Shauna and all of the girls/women. I never slept with my BFF's boyfriend in high school. But we did have an epic fight and stopped talking to one another for months. Eventually, we made up. We grew up. We became more mature and adept at navigating conflict, jealousy, insecurity and the complexity of human relationships. We're still best friends today. Every time I watch this episode my heart breaks. Poor Jackie is justifiably enraged by Shauna's betrayal and storms out. But this isn't a house party in Jersey, it's uninhabited woods in the Canadian Rockies. And Shauna - yeah, she BIG fucked up. Instead of confronting Jackie about feeling railroaded in the friendship, she repressed it and slept with her boyfriend, lied and then reacted defensively when confronted. I can't help but think, what if my BFF and I had had our big falling out while stranded in the middle of nowhere. What if she stormed away in a rage and froze to death, and the last words I had said, were the ones I screamed at her during our fight? I don't think I'd have ever been able to move past it. What Shauna did to Jackie was so fucking shitty. But I don't necessarily believe that teenagers who do shitty things are always fundamentally shitty people. I think Jackie dying was such a horrific (and obviously unintended) consequence of Shauna's actions that instead of learning and growing from the experience, it decimated her ability to move forward and grow as a person. Wow. I loved this comment. I can why Shauna did what she did, I just wish she had talked to Jackie about it first instead of jumping on Jeff, but that betrayal goes deep. I will miss Jackie, and I actually like adult Shauna, it’s her younger counterpart that is slightly annoying but i get where she’s coming from in her friendship. jackie didnt kill herself. she froze to death in her sleep. it was her dream we saw. dont listen to the criticisms. Season 2 is really good. people are morons. ‘Sic Transit Gloria Mundi’ translates to "Thus passes the worldly glory."

I don’t think A skinned his mother this time I think it was Wes I reckon Archie’s mask is his original one the reason there was only 8 episodes was cause of the writers strike. Heard the plan is to do five seasons where each liar has there own main character moment we’ve had Imogen and Tabby so far

Im so sadd i dont have this show to look forward to every Thursday anymore but hopefully well get a season 3 ima need mouse to have a final girl moment in the next season even if she isn’t the final final girl because she has these great chase scenes in season 1 and 2 but she doesn’t really get to fight the villain 🦹♀️

So at this point in time, the Yellowjackets have been stranded in the wilderness for about 5 months. We know this b/c when they crashed, they talked about missing prom b/c of the crash, so that would be around May. During the 'Doomscoming' episode Jackie talks about her and Shauna missing "rush week" at college, which means during their Doomcoming party it's around October. So Shauna is about 5 months pregnant.

Actually Noa’s in the wrong because she played Shawn for 2 grand to bail out Jen then Jen robbed Shawn’s house. So him punching a wall is justified because they’ve done worse to him
