How did you find this beautiful drink? I'm going to have to visit this spot next time I come home. I love the creativity of some of these bartenders. I think some of the Tiki purists will have an issue with the definition of this being tiki. Gimme all the rum. Awesome video sir
Thanks, brother. I'm pretty sure the tiki "purists" would find issue in anything "tiki" that I do unless I was wearing a tiki shirt and had tiki mugs all over my set. 😅
Oh no, one of my biggest weaknesses is pink bubblegum… I have to ban people from chewing it near me… there might be some trauma there including the three stooges and a dentist… might have to hire you to get through that…
Does Sparkle know this? Has she used it to her advantage? This information could get into the wrong hands. 😈
What’s your favorite low ABV cocktail? 🍹
Disaronno pina colada. Very naughty coz you can easily drink quite a few of these bad boys. Cheers for this recipe Vino! 🍻
Coming up with blends is always an adventure.
Great video as always Vino! Cheers
Thanks pal. Always appreciate the good word!
Fabulous message and cocktail Vino!!
Thanks, Christine! 😊
@@CoachVinoLLC YW!!
I’ll defo make this one. I’m seriously loving tequila right now! Cheers V!
Hey Ann! Hope you're well. It's a yummy one!
I need to try this!
I'm sure you can come up with a similar blend!
Looking so sly throwing that lemon peel over the shoulder. 😂
Until my wife finds it later and yells at me. 😅
@@CoachVinoLLC I was going to say when your knees hurt reaching down to pick it up haha
@@gnomestavern8285😂
I feel father time my thumb is hurting from making batches
Awesome cocktail Vino.. what would be a good substitute for the rum agricole? I hope that you have a great weekend.
My man, Eric! If you have cachaca, they'll work in a pinch. Cheers, pal! ✌🏾
@CoachVinoLLC thank you sir! I can't wait to make this one!
For those who don’t hv the barbancourt, do yourself a favor and go get it, even the 4 would work! So good! This sounds like a yummy one V! Cheers to Friday! Be well!
Blending rums together makes the world a delicious place. I love drinks like this because it breaks expectations about rum being mixed with pineapple and guzzled while being roasted by the sun. This one can be sipped while sitting in a smoke filled room on a dark red leather couch 🛋. Cheers 🍸 good sir
I get the sense from your IG post that you have quite the extensive collection of rums. I bet you can whip up some great flavor combos in stirred cocktails on that dark red leather coach of yours. Cheers, brother! ✌🏾
You weren't kidding that stirring was right around the corner. LOL! Love the sound of that rum combination! Happy Friday Vino! Cheers
Ha! I've actually been alternating this summer between shaken and stirred on the channel. Something for everyone.
SECOND>!>!================> I need my silver in straight cash, homie.....
I might have just enough smith & cross... I haven't been to the liquor store all summer... I need a fresh bottle or I won't be able to gain entry to the next drinking buddies episode...
If you don't have enough Smith & Cross, you can reach to @robshomebar. He just bought half the inventory in Canada. 😆
What is your favorite stirred rum cocktail? 🥃
@CoachVinoLLC dangerous question.. as you know, I'm a big fan of Vieux Carre.. as well as the Sentimental Gentleman and Staggering Gentleman.. and the Gibson as well as Gin martini's ( prefer traditional).. and your latest Lewis and Martin cocktail and a Sazerac can't be beat.. I guess I'll say ANYTHING that is bourbon or rye cocktails are a hit!
This one Vino!! This is a massive fave!! I love your rum choices! Love this super delicious stirred 'Rum Manhattan!!" Terrific quote!!! You rock my dear friend!! 🙂
El Presidente!
@@hietanbsthat’s an absolute banger!
@@christinecamleyrum Manhattan’s are something to behold! lol. Cheers, my dear!
Been meaning to get around to the made man. Pretty good amd worthwhile I only break out the chartruese on special occaisions I use my cherry heering for a cherry bourbon cola 1.5 bourbon 0.75 cherry heering 0.25 lime juice Top 3 oz coke
That Cherry Bourbon Cola sounds super delicious. Like a Cherry Coke or Dr. Pepper. Gonna need to try that one. Cheers, Nick! ✌🏾
WOWSA this looks like a killer cocktail.. definitely gotta make this asap.. I always look for a good excuse to use banana liqueur when I can. good recipe. Also, great movie, great scene.. every time I zip down to San Diego I always toss out an anchorman quote when I see the skyline approaching. Cheers!!
I've surprisingly use banana liqueur a bunch this summer. I have a couple more cocktails already in the can for August that use it too. Funny how a city can become so closely associated with a one film. Stay classy, San Diego!
Fascinating, this is such an ever-so-slight tweak, though I bet those tiki bitters make a *humongous* difference, they're packed with such intense flavor! I do love a good penicillin so I may have to try this.. and hope that I don't use a scotch that overwhelms on the nose... usually penicillins are put together with strong peated scotches, or at least a float or a mist of one.. i'd be curious to see how that will hold up against the pineapple and some good spiced bitters. Thanks for another great ep, Vino!
Hey David, the addition of pineapple and the tiki bitters really made for a more palatable cocktail. Tropical but still with that Penicillin bite. I tend to stay away from super peated Scotch/cocktails, so this really hit home. Cheers, pal!
Ahhhhh, the'70s in California, how much fun I had during those college and law school days! I actually listen ... occasionally .. to the Sirius station of the same name for those sailing in the sea of memories moods.... Cheers my brother!
Ahhh, to be a fly on the wall of my buddy Andrew and his law school buddies. Ha! Good times, I bet. Cheers, my brother!
Instead of saying "Feeding the hungry hungry algorithm" you should go with, "and quench the thirsty thirsty algorithm." lol. Love this cocktail, TY
Ha! I might have to slip that in to a future video. 😆
Pims Cup and Mint Julep are my 2 favourite mint cocktails 🤠
Those are two bangers!
I love the idea of mixing base spirits. Gin/rum, Tequila/rum, Rum/Bourbon, all super cool stuff. All the comedies I like are British crime flicks. Dry humor just suits me. Awesome video goo's sir.
I don't watch enough British comedy. I've enjoyed what I've seen but I usually stumble upon it.
Catching up on watch time. Will and must make this. Hover I had thoughts of Naked and Famous, Hanky Panky and Between the Sheets with the one. Plus, and weirdly heard this at the grocery store, Afternoon Delights song.
You ever see the Afternoon Delights music video? Those were definitely times! 😅
@@CoachVinoLLC I have the official and adult version. 😂
Vino, that looks like a right tasty cocktail.
You bet your bottom dollar!
Who doesn't love lamp?
I LOVE LAMP and any cocktail with an anchorman reference
Ha! Stay classy San Diego.
I love lamp! So good. The tequila rum combo sounds super fun!
Tiki names are so damn good! 😆
I will try these someday. You have me add so much to my list. It will take me years to get around to everything. THREE QUESTIONS: 1. What’s your favorite margarita riff? Banana 1.5 anejo 1 oz banana liquer 1 lime 0.5 oz agave syrup 2. What’s your favorite tequila brand? olmeca altos quality and cheap 3. What’s your favorite Mexican dish? tacos
I just made a fresh batch banana liqueur so I'm gonna try your Banana Marg this weekend. Cheers, Nick!
Ok vino. This looks good. I will try this and the sinker this weekend. My favorite comedy? Too many to pick one. I will go with hangover as a favorite
Hangover is a classic! I can watch that one over and over. Ha!
VINO!!! This looks delish!!! Since I'm allergic to banana's, I'd long toss the banana slice and go all in on the cocktail!!! Great video!!! CHEERS my brother!!!
Definitely making this tonight. Thanks!
Make it a movie night and watch Anchorman too! 😎
What is your favorite comedy movie? 🎥
My Cousin Vinny. A classic!
Ferris Buller’s Day Off!
@@ShawnBrandt I LOVE that one! I know so many guy Vinny, so it made it extra funny.
@@stephane.foisy.186 oh, that's damn classic! The 80's were something.
@CoachVinoLLC well I have 3 but not in any order 1) MY Cousin Vinny 2) Blazing Saddles 3) Tommy Boy
@Coachvino.. good morning Vino, oh, this one looks amazing and very tasty! Im on my last run/ trip for the week and just got paid.. so damn my luck, I'll just HAVE to go to my local liquor store to get the agave syrup 😂.. and make this while better half makes dinner 😂.. of I WOULDN'T leaver her without one either! Have a great weekend brother.
My man, Eric! It's a tasty one, for sure. You probably won't find agave syrup at the liquor store (try grocery store) but don't let me stop you from going to the liquor store anyway. 😆 I'm sure the wife won't mind you mixing her up one of these while she makes dinner. Seems like a fair distribution of household responsibilities. Ha! Have a great weekend, my brother! Cheers!
@CoachVinoLLC you as well my friend! I did find your Facebook page and now following it ( yeah kinda like a stalker in a white van.. except I drive a white semi truck 🤣) I did post a question about the banana liquer and your method on how it's done so.. if you get the time could you give me some better insight? Thanks brother and have a great weekend!
@@ericsloop6063 ha! I'll be keeping an eye out for white semi trucks. 😂
@CoachVinoLLC 🤣🤣🤣 I did make the " I LOVE Lamp " and coach, it turned out FANTASTIC!! I appreciate everything you have done in these videos.. also when will you, David Edwards ( Booze On The Rocks) and Rob ( Robs home bar ) be doing another " Drinking Buddies " segment? I really enjoy seeing y'all and how everyone interacts together!
Why start work for the day, when you can start the weekend instead… about to work on my budget, saw the video, and thoughts I did enough for the day already…
The coach in me will say, don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today! 😉
@@CoachVinoLLC and that’s why I’m batching up the coquito ho ho for Xmas in July tomorrow…
Is it possible to know the difference between nonino and Lucano please ?
Hey Vince, basically, Lucano has a medium sweetness with herbal bitterness and notes of cinnamon, licorice, and caramel. While Nonino has more subtle herbal bitterness and gentle spice with primary notes of orange peel and caramel sweetness. Hope that helps. Cheers!
@@CoachVinoLLCThanks . That confirm I will prefer Nonino unfortunately it seems super difficult to find
this is very different from the Godfather
Oh yeah, very much so.
Sounds delicious! I have some open Lillet Blanc that I need to use up, this seems like a great cocktail to do that
It’s definitely a yummy one, especially if you dig the banana notes. Cheers pal.
Hey Vino. I hope all is going well with you. Been a crazy hot humid summer this year. This drink looks like the perfect cocktail for sitting on the back patio and listening to some Rat Pack tunes. Cheers my friend.
My man, PJ! Hope you are well, friend. Yes, a slow sipper and Rat Pack turns are hard to beat. Cheers, pal. ✌🏾
I call it delicious !!!
It’s usually not nice to call people names, but in this instance you’d be correct.
Hey Coach Vino! Hey brother, I was able to get my hands on the Lillet Blanc wine, I had all the other ingredients ( I used a Rye From Freeland Spirits bottled in bond for the base spirit) and this IS INCREDIBLE!!! congratulations sir, this one was " bases loaded, score tied and the ball was KNOCKED OUT OF THE PARK!! HOME RUN!! 👍👍👍 I LOVE THIS!
My man, Eric! I'm so glad you could find the Lillet so quickly and make this bad boy. It really is a super delicious. Like you said, a GRAND SLAM! Btw, I'm a diehard baseball fan so I love the analogy. ha! Cheers, my friend.
@CoachVinoLLC so am I! And with you being up in NYC.. who is your favorite team? Being a native of Texas ( yeah I know I live in Oklahoma) myself, I'm a Rangers fan!
this looks awesome
It's super dope!
That banana touch looks really interesting
Dayummn.. coach Vino, this cocktails looks like something right up my alley! All i need to find is the Littet Le Blanc, ( some of the liquor and wines aren't available in Southern Oklahoma) but the way this cocktail looks.. AMAZING! My friend, this one ( as soon as i can get my meat hooks on that Le Blanc ) could very well surpass my go-to the Vieux Carre!
My man, Eric! The Vieux Carre is hard to beat, I love that one too, but this Lewis & Martin would be a fun change of pace. If you get your hands on that Lillet Blanc, I've got a bunch of videos using it, so it won't go to waste. I'm a big fan of that stuff. Have a great weekend, pal. Cheers!
@CoachVinoLLC and cheers to you as well brother! Enjoy your weekend and be safe if you're gonna travel.
Coach, im gonna try this one sir! Looks delicious
That's a classic, Eric! Hopefully you'll dig it.
Any cocktail with Lillet is usually right up my alley. Interesting to see banana with it. My favorite singer is Tom Jones. I mean I love Roy Orbison too.
Tom Jones is that dude. He was actually pals with my man, Sinatra. ✌🏾
