    I was hoping for an explanation on how they actually work.

    It’s not a safe deposit box. Ifs just a locking lid that screws into the plastic console with 4 self tapping screws. It might be fireproof but since it’s just a lid, nothing simply underneath, inside the plastic console, is inside anything remotely fireproof. It’s good for what it is, but it’s not what he seems to think it is.

    That's about as fireproof as a gas can. Clearly, you did not install or witness the installation. It's designed to slow down the theft. Not avoid it

    If your wipers cycle once and then stop on the lower speeds, your rain sensor is at fault. Unplug it and the wipers will cycle normally.

    This seems like an aggressive system in a good way. Closest distance is actually pretty close, and it doesnt take forever to get back up to the speed you set when you pass. Great demonstration. This also has stop-and-go / low speed follow right?

    Good god, the Lincoln does it too and *IT’S ALWAYS JUST FUCKIN GROCERIES* Thank the lord you posted this🙌 Whoever created this “feature” should be demoted for wasting company resources and frustrating customers instead of creating something useful 😂 This drove me insane! The same guy/girl is probably pitching a new warning for 2023, when you turn on your car: “Don’t run over pedestrians while driving” will bing at you until you click “okay”🤣

    What does it mean, if you keep getting the message "Adaptive Cruise not available" every time you press the cruise button, even if its set to normal cruise in driver assist?

  • @jakes5530
    @jakes5530 Жыл бұрын

    probably just to warn you that it's going to be in normal cruise control mode only. Many people are probably used to having the ACC feature turned on, so probably just a safety warning when it's turned off. Also any bad weather (slush/heavy rain/snow) can block the sensors and turn the system off even if you turned it on ACC mode.

    Rear Occupant Alert is a safety feature used for reminding drivers of passengers they unintentionally left in the car and trigger an alarm 🚨, thereby saving them from a heat stroke 🥵. This is especially beneficial for parents, whose child died in the car to heat stroke is their worst nightmare😢.

  • @mro4ts457
    @mro4ts457 Жыл бұрын

    So it’s to help enable bad parents? I get leaving your phone in the car by accident, but as a parent, it terrifies me that children have people taking care of them who can’t be bothered to check the back seat of a car without an automated reminder 🤦‍♀️

  • @alphaapple1375
    @alphaapple1375 Жыл бұрын

    @@mro4ts457 Believe me, I get upset 😢 to learn that a child, pet or elderly person has perished in the car by heat stroke in the news. I regularly look up which vehicles have the technology that could mitigate commuters who die of heat stroke. In addition to mitigating child deaths by heat stroke, there should also be safety features that mitigate frontovers and backovers. There are large vehicles with big blind views that were too high to be see in the front or back. Is there a solution to these dangerous problems? Yes, there is! There are safety features consisting Front, Rear and Surround View Cameras, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Parking Obstruction Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking (Parking), Rear Cross Traffic Warning, and Reverse Automatic Braking. But even with these safety features, we shouldn’t rely on them too much as they don’t completely guarantee safe driving. However, I make myself clear that I am very much in favor of them being standard.

  • @mro4ts457
    @mro4ts457 Жыл бұрын

    @@alphaapple1375 The children and pets who died of heat stroke were intentionally left in the car though. That means, even with a reminder bing, they would’ve clicked okay and still left the car. What they needed was an app reminder after 15 minutes that they can’t leave things in the car for that long

    I bought a Cactus Grey Maverick and the color is very different according to the light. Some days it looks a bluish grey and other days it looks like a more cream tan! When looking at the pictures of Cactus Grey online I thought that the difference in color was due to the certain cameras and filters being used to take the photos but it's not, it's how the lighting is! Really weird, and not many people are talking about it!

  • @chrisalchenberger

    Wrong analogy. The safe is a metal top with two folding sides. It's not enclosed. It's not covered on 4 sides. Actually you retain all the USB ports and functions as well. Classic salesmen. Tells the customers what they want to hear. Leaves it to service to give the correct info.

  • @petetran2018
    @petetran20182 жыл бұрын

    Actually, you need to fold the rear seats upward, and then you can have the seats recline to it's maximum setting.
