ok literally noone said it was for beginners, this video shows us the exact thing someone using blender for a longer time needs to know to make an eye. the fact how the eye is built is the point in this video, not a step to step guide that shows you every little thing. it doesn't say that it's for beginners so don't expect it to be

So I am already having issues, when painting for example given the face, for some unknown reason, parts of the leg, sometimes even back (so basically all over the body) are painted at random, what am I doing wrong?! Did I mess up my Model this badly?

I am late to the party, but when I start to pain (for example) the leg, suddenly for no reason parts of his back are also painted, or if I try paint his face, there are weird stripes of color going down his body, what's the issue?

I always have an error when trying to click generate rig RIGIFY ERROR: Bone 'spine.004': Cannot connect chain - bone position is disjoint. Incorrect armature for type 'chain_rigs' and it doesn't work

This is very tedious. Surely there is a program that can automate this procedure, or at least cut the amount of work to half.

This tutorial is incomplete. At the end you say that I can add additional animations to the NLA from other downloaded mixamo armatures/animations but you don't show how and my attempt to reproduce your initial actions to do it doesn't work and goes completely haywire. Kind of not as helpful without making that clear since this is only for one animation.

I added wings for my character, assigned the wing bones to a group, and went to generate a rig. But to my dismay, the wing bones did not show up in the rig, despite me unhiding the group. The wing bones are ONLY visible in the ORG bone group which... I cannot use to deform the wings. ): Do you know what may be causing this?

I added amature and mesh as automatic weights in blender. then i made some poses in pose mode. but when i click somewhere else after selecting the mesh, the mesh comes into its initial position. how can i avoid that ?

It was a very useful tutorial, had issues along the way but made a bucket hat.

Tedious. I suspect there's a better way to get hair aligned with the hair basmesh, rather than manually putting in each strand.

but the hair dont have a physics modifier. will they be recognized for collision on the mesh?

Hi there. I've been following along with this a bit and it seems like if I duplicate the section of the scalp from a premade model from a game - the curves are hugely thick. If I change it to a strand instead of a strip then it seems to look just like most of this video. However, when I add the modifiers as you've done it's far different. Noticeably less. I have to add 20000 to interpolate hair curves to get something decent looking. But after the others modifiers they stay looking a bit like dread locks... Any idea how to solve this? If I try to make the scalp from scratch it's a bit clunky and you can see it sticking out of the model in some areas even through the hair. Tks
