Cane Corso Chronicles

Cane Corso Chronicles

Follow us as we navigate life with two Cane Corsos as our first adult family dogs. We keep it real to show you what life is really like with two giant breeds, and it definitely isn't close to a walk in the park. However if more than just us can learn from our mistakes they are worth it as we grow as a family and try and help raise and grow awareness of this truly majestic breed.

The hell with breeders they are disgusting breeding dogs for money. My Badog corso and pit is huge, friendly, guards home and best i can ask for.Dogs are family not objects for people to make money with. This lady needs to be educated greatly.Lets all stop buying from breeders and supporting inbreeding.People like this overcomplicate dogs. Its how they are trained and brought up.

I admire her for her safety leanings, and experience/ knowledge. You knew you would be ripped up by the no it all. I appreciate your honesty. Your just trying to get the caution out in public. Some people have closed minds and with no long term knowledge of the breed . . Like I said the know it all with closed minds. You make perfect sense to me.

Well based on the comments I was apparently incorrect, majority of the mixes don't take the aggressive traits. However, a couple commenters shared they had some major issues with the mix. Appreciate the comment, I honestly thought nobody would watch this video lol, I am a small inactive channel. But I still stand firm it's not just how you raise them, genetics can play a role.

I’m watching this on my mom’s account but my babygirl is an American Staffordshire Terrier Cane Corso mix and she’s a big ole baby… It’s how the owner raises their animals, that makes them who they are not what you speak of💯

It's called hurting her income and bottom dollar. Her opinion is like assholes. I've got a pure bred Cane Corso and a Bully XL. get what you want. I'd not do it because Corso's are amazing dogs and don't need cross bred for any reason. That said, buy what you want. But you're buying a mutt instead of a 2,000 year old Italian killing machine. The bite psi stuff is also a load of shit. It depends on the dog. My friend has a 150 lbs Presa Canario and it's said my Corso has a much stronger bite. His dog would kill my dog. It's all about the size.

I just adopted a corso mix from a rescue shelter. He is one year old and the biggest hambone. Look forward to years of a loving relationship. Any dog regardless of the breed always goes back to the owner. Be responsible and everything should go well.

We have two Rottweiler x Corso. They are the sweetest dogs we’ve ever had. Mix or not, it’s all about training and who owns them. Socialisation etc. Our poodle is far more dangerous.

Remove you video, its embarrassing for people that love animals and keep dogs as pets. Especially in the UK. Guess what? I've never seen a labrador retriever cropped. Why is that?

If you get one I would make sure you spend the money to get a great temperament line. Otherwise def a risk. Not as much to your child but more so anyone that visits and some of the worse of lines have bitten family members from what I have seen on Facebook.

Use a clicker , it's the best way to communicate with the dog, they learn very quickly. Also use as few words as possible , hand signals are good also.... keep training simple and no more than 15 min a day. Keep training fun

I have met some pitbull crosses (although i don't think any of them were mixed with cane corso) some of them were quite aggressive but others were very nice and kind. the full blood pitbulls were just walking they didn't bother me or anything but I don't have any real interactions with them so I don't really know. as far as bite force I also thought that lion's bite force was 660 psi but that was supposedly force measured of an adolescent lion not a full adult. Later I found information that bite of a lion is about 950psi and that makes sense because bite force of tiger is 1050psi. from what I read Cane Corso's bite is 700psi which is very impressive for a dog but not quite as much as lion or a tiger. also there are one or two breeds that have even higher bite force than cane corso. with bandog being able to generate I think about 720psi and Kangal 743psi. but you can't simply say no to any mix that just happens to involve dog with very powerful bite. now most people will tell you that mixing breeds of any kind is a bad idea. however as you know better than I do that widens the gene pool and generally (of course not always) improves dog's health. I never owned a mixed breed and only owned one dog in my life. however from what I have seen training and treatment of the dog plays large part in what he is going to be like not just what breed he is.

You're ridiculous lol dogs behave how you train them. Keep your lame ass opinions to yourself Karen. The Cane Corso is a direct descendant of Roman war dogs if I remember correctly. So here you are saying you don't want a natural born "fighting dog" I.E. pit bull or German Shepherd to be bred with a dog with such a high bite strength. Yet the Cane Corso itself is a natural born fighting dog. You're hilarious

I will definitely try this. My first male Corso, we left natural. Our second Corso was female and she was cut shorter than we wanted. Our last female was show clipped. She’s almost 4 mo now, and was standing beautifully for two mo until 3 days ago. The right is turning in and lying on her head. I’ve been trying to figure something out and had tried to tape on my own, but the other dogs would help her get it off in minutes. We’ve been massaging since the stitches came out at 9weeks. I believe she’s about to lose her canines, so I’ll keep watch of that, too. Thanks so much. I will get the strips tomorrow. ;)
