    Please, if I finish my second semester before 6 month interval, would i be allowed to proceed to the next semester?

  • @MyaMollay
    @MyaMollay5 ай бұрын

    Hi unfortunately with the pre licensure nursing program you would not be able to proceed to next semester. If you are doing the RN-BSN program where you already have an associates degree in nursing and your just trying to get your BSN then you can proceed at your own pace.

    @@MyaMollay I mean, after my first year, or after my first 2 sessions. I already have different bacherlor degree in non-nursing , at tge same time completed all my prerequisites at college before being admitted into WGU?

  • @MyaMollay
    @MyaMollay5 ай бұрын

    @@justinokpalaobi6350 you would still have to follow the timeline of the program. They won’t let you expedite it 🥲. I had a bachelor’s degree in biology before entering the program but was still required to follow the program’s timeline

    That means 2.5 years

  • @MyaMollay
    @MyaMollay5 ай бұрын

    @justinokpalaobi6350 yes but the first 6 months is the pre entry into the program. Some people do not pass that part or determine that maybe it’s not a good fit for them and drop out. If you successfully complete the first 6 months then you get to continue on to the actual clinical nursing part of the program which is then 2 years. So everything together is 2.5 years. WGU has made slight changes to the coursework since I graduated back in 2020 so I recommend reaching out to an advisor in the program so that they’ll be able to give you the updated information.

    There's 4 terms in total. So, in each 6 months which is a term, there is only 3 weeks to worry about for clinicals or labs? So, what happens the 5 months in the term?

  • @MyaMollay

    Time that is not spent on clinicals or labs within a term is spent on coursework and preparing for exams
