Epic Video ❤
In the cheap Morgan days there were rarely any cars in the showrooms today there are more Morgan's than you can count.
I must get over to meet you guys this year
Fantastic people, beautiful place, and even better cars. You couldn't want for more!
Great company and I trust them to take care of my pride and joy!
What your Mrs ?
nicely done.....everyone loves a Morgan,
Beautiful….
Are they gonna make a 4-seat version of the Plus-6? Or a CX based plus-8 Four-seater?
He took all that ground effects from Texan Jim Hall in Cam-Am who had been doing it years before, ditto for Gordon Murray who copied Hall's fan car concept but just served it up differently 8 years after Hall (Hall's used a separate engine so it generated downforce even standing still, Gordon's downforce decreased w/ speed, the opposite of what you want). Hall did not just do wings, he was doing active rear wings years before F1 was even doing wings. You won't see this on Chapman's Wiki entry, but here's Jim Hall's: : "Hall pioneered wings, movable aerodynamic devices, side-mounted radiators, semi-automatic transmissions and composite monocoque chassis structures, all of them innovations later adopted by and still present today in every Formula 1 car." Hall's Chaparral 2J was using articulated polycarbonate skirts 7 years before the Lotus 78, and Hal's' skirts had a system of pullies and wires to harmonize them w/ the suspension so the seal was perfect. Hall's Chaparral 2E moved the radiators from the front to the sides in 1966!!!! That's four years before the Lotus 72! Amazing 😍😍
Aaaaa
Two wheeled in the front, one in the back, at least that is way we county in the USA.
As I understand it the manual is only available in the 4. I don't think there going to lose sales on the 6 over this .A you either love these / or not .you have the money/ or not . There's no practicality/ logic on this purchase. Is pure emotion.
1) Does Morgan cooperate with Williams for these mods? 2) Does Morgan feel badly that all their work is undone? 3) Who takes care of warranty after a major re-build? 4) Why arent any of the mods/options/upgrades offered by Morgan itself in a bespoke dept?
Love my Morgan Three Wheeler and would consider one of these, but.... you've got to have a manual!!
100 years without changing the design taking morgan to a financial decline, Changes everthing when it comes to make it a electric car lol
Where I can find those car the I can drive in United State ???
Great enthusiasm Henry for a beautiful car!
Amazing, glad to find and see this vídeo again, that goes stright to my inspirational list
Fittipaldi?
Beautiful car - enjoy.
The Williams family are one of the nicest people i have ever met !!!
Agreed - lovely people.
He gave a shit about the drivers safety, period. Thanks Collin
I hadn't realized this is an advertisement; disregard my comment below.
1:25 Kind of weird citing five drivers who were "atracted by Lotus", and leaving out Rindt, Fittipaldi, and Peterson as if they were lesser drivers
@@somedrytoast2307 So right! A long time!
Is this car available in USA?
Make build your own engine. The steering wheel is just ugly the dashboard is ugly .only the outside is beautiful but the motor no the inside nope the steering wheel is a big noooo
❤️
What will the Aero replacement be like.
So, all bullshit aside, it doesn't have a manual gearbox. Who was the rocket scientist who made that decision?
Why not the s55 engine 🤔
B58 has more potential and a bigger market
Amazing business, great people, experts in there field.
Quintisentially British but Italian owned .
Nice advertisement
Don’t get me wrong.. I love Morgans. Like crazy in love with them but to say “Review”? No sir. This was More like “Advertised by Williams Morgan”
The steering wheel and the gear lever are big minus, totally not fit in.
I think this Morgan is BRILLIANT! I prefer the no windows option and if I ever get the money, this would be the car I’d buy. Of course an old wooden steering wheel and a traditional manual stick shift would look better, but these things are minor eye soars when what a person should be looking at is the scenery of the road ahead. Oh to dream. Thank you Morgan. Someday...
The seats go backwards and forwards. Wow , that's unique
It helps
It's a piece of art.
Nice BMW Z4 or is it a Supra? Thanks Morgan for putting one of the final nails in the British car industry! Only Mclaren and Ariel to go ... as TVR will never make a comeback in any meaningful fashion. How long have we been waiting for the Griffith to come out? And people want 'Sovereignty' and the ability to 'Govern themselves' ... I suppose so we can have a say on which German company buys/overtakes the next British car company I suppose. We'll always have The London Taxi Company I suppose ... 'cause they'll have VW and Toyota quaking in their boots won't they!
Regardless of what engine they use, ie from bmw z4 /Toyota supra, The company is now owned by Italians. (Or at least by part) Mind you, this is how capitalism works though. For the big boys, once gone on to be listed on the stock market, ANYONE can buy them. Though Morgan isn’t publicly listed, the ownership of the company could also be sold to another willing buyer if the current owners wanted to. I’m just glad to see that they are still producing charming cars with BRITISH souls. utubecomment21
Morgans haven't had English engines for decades. The most recent "English " engine was a rover v8, but that wasn't really a rover, just a Chevy with a rover badge.
@@leroy8595 The Rover V8 ... every single car I've worked on with that engine, has been a complete disaster, or as Scotty Kilmer would say; "A total money pit!" … be it TVR, Rover, Rangey's ...
@@TCBumby I much prefer Wiesmann - MF3 please! Just cut out the middle man and go straight to German design!
@@leroy8595 exactly 👍🏻
Steering wheel doesn’t fit. The rest is perfect
The steering wheel looks much better with a black center rather than the chrome center.
It’s so modern. Is that what the makers think people want from a Morgan? It’s no use moaning about it if you are not going to buy one. The makers make them for people to buy, not for armchair aficionados to bleet about....the lottery it is then.
I'LL BE BACK ! , is it?
why should they ? (both commenters) Buy or keep the old ones...... Would you buy a iPhone in oak with brass buttons ?
The gear lever is really an awful looking thing, come on morgan change it, more traditional please...
can they swap out the steering wheel for the traditional look, and the gear lever also for traditional look?
Shifter yes , steering wheel no. It still needs the air bag
@@jimardizoni3453 what airbag are you talking about?? 🤣
Chapman was a genius - flawed in many ways - but an incredible innovator. I miss him. F1 misses him too !! RIP Colin. Rx
12 Senna
Chapman is gone much too early (54 years)! With an older Chapman, Lotus would have been the most successful Formula 1 Team!
When I was 6 yrs old my dad adored the Morgan. Now I am 60yrs old and I adore the Morgan. If only in my dreams a Plus 8 top down. A work of art.
To my mind one of the most egocentric crooks in racing business. He killed Jim Clark and Jochen Rindt with his poor engineering. To Rindt he mostly talked through Bernie Ecclestone. They both were done with each other. Good, Chapman died early before killing more superb drivers.
Well said Thomas!!
Thomas Pietrowski Killed Ronnie Peterson as well, Lotus cars ruined more careers than they made
I don't believe Chapman forced any of these drivers to race, so I am at a loss to see how he was responsible. Poor Jochen died, but he may have survived if he had fastened his crotch strap which he refused to do and consequently submarined and ended up with a fatal injury . RIP Jochen Rindt
Idiot. Modern F1 is because of Colin Chapman. He and Frank Costin were 2 of the greatest automotive engineers that ever lived.
