From David Kirkpatrick’s book, "The Facebook Effect", Mark Zuckerberg is quoted: “You have one identity." "The days of you having a different image for your work friends or co-workers and for the other people you know are probably coming to an end pretty quickly.” “Having two identities for yourself is an example of a lack of integrity.”
This channel is about my digital one identity and my passions: vanlife, glassblowing, biking, tech, writing, painting, exploring, discovering, journeying, celebrating, creating, playing, praying, and Free Catholicism. It's a place for us to explore together, the digital humanities of our time.
I hope you enjoy this offering as much as I will enjoy creating, exploring, and sharing it - I don't pretend that this channel will offer all of me but I hope it will offer most of me, as I am able and as I know myself, but rest assured, it will offer the heart of my interests in this thing we call life.
Blessings!

I have been reluctant to embrace many things modern. I embrace the old paths which is why I really took to Old Catholicism. In fact I am reminded of a Bible verse loosly put, Seek out the old way wherein is the good way. One of my favorites is the 1928 BCP. And of course I love the old King James Version with the Apocrypha books. I have been striving my whole life Brian, to find my way back to original Christianity. I believe the Anglican church is very near the original faith once delivered to the saints. I love you Brian!
Yes, I love the Episcopal Church, which is the Anglican Church in the United States and I love both the '28 and '79 BCPs.
I’ve made beads but I haven’t tried making objects yet. I didn’t know you could leave pieces out in the open like that. I thought they would break from thermal shock. Thanks for this video.
Take your time making them and make them small, the size of a bead. Follow your names process for bead making and they should be fine. In the video I'm working with borosilicate glass which melts at a higher temperature and is a little more forgiving than soft glass. Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you. Super helpful and fun to follow along putting my kit together. :)
Thanks so much for watching! Glad I could be helpful in some way.
Beautiful van! I agree about the ugliness of most conversion vans. This one is light and airy!
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
I’m surprised you can still get this!!! I got mine in about 1967 and used it faithfully for 15 or so years. It is now rather careworn but I refer to it often.
Wonderful! Yes, they've been republishing it for some time. I have an older leather version complete with rubrics in red ink and ribbons that I love. Thanks so much for watching!
2019 is what we use at my local church. I love the 1662 international and the Cambridge one
Have you looked at Common Prayer published by Lancelot Andrews Press? I think I did a review of it...not sure...almost the perfect BCP in my opinion.
Thank you. I been thinking of getting this
It's a sweet little prayer book. Thanks for watching!
Your baby is adorable!
Thank you! 🧡🦊
How are the mpg's?
Not terrible. I get between 17 and 18 mpg and 19 to 20 on the highway. (Though 20 has been rare.)
@@tolovesowelltheworldcool, that was one of the reasons I've hesitated.
thank you so muuuuuuuuuuch, I would not have done it without you haha
Thank you so much for watching! Glad you found it helpful!
I had one just like it
This is a fantastic missal. There is also a Father Stedman Lent season Missal that has all the propers from Ash Wed to Easter Sunday. How cool is that!! I have both. :) I always wished Father Stedman missals had a daily missal. The numbering method they used are Fantastic. I have a Father Lasance Daily Missal.. it’s a great missal as well. We are lucky in my area. We have three Churches that do the Traditional Latin Mass using the 1962 Roman Rite. Matter of fact, I’m preparing to throw on my Sunday best for my the 12 O’clock Latin Mass.. :) I’ll be using my Father Stedman missal today- it works perfectly fine.. same reading being used in the Propers.
Thanks so much for watching and sharing! Blessings!
Bishop Pruter had a large library if I remember correctly. Books and coffee are two passions of mine. I enjoy prayer books but I really like my Scofield Study Bible that my wife bought for me. Some folks feel they can not use a prayer book for their prayers. But for me, I need the structure that the prayer book provides. The Psalms is another prayer book, the Lord's Prayer is a written prayer and people who never want to use written prayers don't think of that. You're right Brian, the best prayer book is the one that you'll use.
Do you have extra (more than one) of anything by Bishop Pruter? I occasionally reveiew The Catholic Priest, A Guide to Holy Orders and The Priest Handbook. I have B.P.'s history of the Old Catholic Church. I have never gotten The Directory of Autocephalous Bishops or The Blue Jellybean. I was unsure if I made the directory in 2007 or if anything like that is still being published. There were a couple of web sites with Autocephalous Bishops listenings on them, but it seems that even they have gone away now.
I'm sorry, I don't. I downsized a few years ago. I had close to 10,000 books at the time. I re-homed all but about 5 (today I'm back up to about 50 books LOL). We keep most of Bp. Prüter's in print at Wildside Press and you can buy them there or at Amazon. amzn.to/3TEu4Ui
Wildside is where I picked up a copy of the Catholic Priest, and The Priest Handbook.
Uh ... Brian, you are accepted here! It's okay to not be perfect. We are all human and I surely have a multitude of faults. I hope to be forgiven by God. But I wish you well my friend!
Blessings upon you!
I found a Methodist hymnal a little over a year ago at Goodwill in Jonesboro. By the way, i love to listen to Date Caldwell. He is a treasure.
He's dear to me. Glad you enjoy his channel!
I have an online friend who is a Universal Life Church Deacon and he attends an ACNA parish.
Gotta say, terrible video quality. Hand held camera a big no no
Thanks for the input! Will do better! 🙂
That's very nice Brian. My wife Brandy gifted me a portable communion kit like one may carry to the hospital. Mine is more like the Protestant version. Perhaps in time I can upgrade. Sharing the sacraments makes me happy too!
Bishop Brian, I have secured a copy of the St Augustine Prayer Book! It has absolutely become helpful to my prayer life. My wife bought a copy for me for Christmas this year. You are right, the pages are thin and delicate. Also when I was in the hospital, the Nuns at St Bernards brought me rosary beads. I love you Brian. Peace+
Congrats! I hope it serves you well!
Many thanks‼️🫶🏾
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment!
Thank you so much. I could not find those black Allen keys, thought they were missing😮. Clever idea to put them in the handles but the instructions it came with are very minimal. Great product otherwise. God bless!
Glad the video helped! I love my SmallRig! Thanks so much for watching and commenting,! Blessings!
And a lovely prison it is. I meant to ask last time i commented about the purpose of that flat paddle with the cut out in the middle which sits at your right side next to the water bowl. I would love to learn to make that little lobster you showed in one of the videos. Could you do a demo ? Thanks.
Thank you! I use that (old pie server) to flatten out knitted bases. I'll build a knitted circular base on a punty rod and then heat it up so it's slightly pliable, slide the rod in the cutout notch, and uniformly flatten the bottom of the base.
I really miss Archbishop Karl Pruter. I drove by where the Cathedral was, and there is a fence built across the front of the Cathedral. And the coupala was gone from the roof. But I drove my family by there and told them about the Cathedral and Archbishop Pruter. I have looked around and tried to find a Saint Peter and his Wife icon, and have never found one.
It was a loss that I've never recovered from. 😢
I definitely understand why. The world's smallest cathedral was such a great blessing, as was Archbishop Pruter. But the people around the Cathedral such as yourself Brian, were a blessing to me as well. I really wish I had spent more time with you and the folks at the Cathedral.
Brian, I've been thinking about getting a Saint Augustine Prayer Book. I've been thinking about you over the years also and I hope you're doing well my friend. I love you brother. Bishop Howard
Good to hear from you! I think the St. Augustine Prayer Book is a sweet little prayer book and a must for anyone interested in such things. However, I think the Saint Ambrose Prayer Book is nearly perfect and it is essentially derived from the same source. Saint Ambrose Prayer Book is published by Lancelot Andrews Press. Also, you might check out its companion, Common Prayer from the same publisher. Good to hear from you my friend and thanks for watching! Blessings! +Brian
Brian, is the morning and evening prayer substantial? Is it extensive enough to suffice for a person's daily devotionals? I'm just curious.
Yes! Certainly, there are more "meaty" choices but this fits in the back pocket and can be used to guide your prayers anywhere, anytime. Of course, as I always say, the very best prayer book is the one a person will use. amzn.to/4a1IeEX
Absolutely. I agree whole heartedly. I love you Bishop Brian. Thanks for the recommendation and may the Lord's peace be with you.
That’s Strange, I left a message on here last night and it seems to have disappeared. Very strange. Lovely little shop you’ve got there😊
Yes, that was strange! It showed a comment had been made but I couldn't find it at all, nor who had made it. I assumed someone had made a comment and then deleted it. LOL! Thanks for your follow-up and thanks for your comment(s) and for watching!!!
In fact it still shows that the original comment was made but it's nowhere to be seen. Very stealth! 😂
@@tolovesowelltheworld I just spoke to my friend and she has the same problem KZread playing up again last week they blocked me for 20 hours I don’t know why funny that take care
Hey Brian! Just stopping by to show some love on your channel. Just subscribed as well! Cute pup!
Awww, thanks so much! Welcome to my very humble channel. LOL! Good to "meet" y'all!!!
Hello that looks like a robot 😮. Looking forward to seeing your videos thank you once again. Helen
Welcome! It does indeed look like a robot! 🤣🤖
I felt dizzy watching it! 👎🏼
Sorry about that! Thanks for watching and for your comment! That'll help me do better! Thanks!
I am super curious about the adapter for the mic and powerbank (extra battery). Did it mess up sound or anything? I am running the RODE Wireless GO II and I am so so so so so curious.
Good question. I'll check on that. My memory says no or not much but I don't use a powerbank often. I'll get back to you on that. Thanks for watching!
@@tolovesowelltheworld Thanks mate... curious about it.
Thank you for the time and effort you took to make this video. I started working with boro a couple of years ago and am just able to make a few items. I really appreciate a video from an experienced lamp worker who takes the time to explain the technique. Please make more videos of your work and I will be sure to watch and learn. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for watching. I really want this art of ours to continue. To that end, I hope to post more "how to" glassblowing videos. So, as they say, "stay tuned" and thanks so much for watching and for commenting!
Just got one for free at the thrift store. St Vincent DePaul. What a treat to get this one. I was born in 1961. My mom in 1940...Sarah my mom was a devoted Catholic so this is a treasure. Nice post. Just brought mine home. Solid theology in this book.
Congrats and thanks for sharing your blessing with me! It is indeed a treasure of a prayer book! Blessings upon you and yours! +Brian
I would love to talk to you about Dennis mckay
Thanks for watching the video and for reaching out. I haven't heard from or about Dennis in many years.
is this book for christian or catholic?
Yes. It is Christian and catholic (meaning universal). It is not, however Roman Catholic but instead, Anglican in tradition. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Great answer to this question
Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
You are the only reason we were able to put this together, thank you so much for the video!
I'm so glad that my little video helped! I love the SmallRig and in fact just ordered the SmallRig tripod. Video coming soon hopefully! Thanks again for watching and for your encouraging feedback!
You're very SLUGGISH in presenting you're Vlog. Change your style.
I have one of those and have used it many times. I was born in the Deep South, raised in the Baptist Church but that church never fit so when I left for college, I looked around and eventually became a Methodist. Today, the Methodist Church is the United Methodist Church. Several decades ago, the Methodist Church joined the United Brethren Church and that union became the United Methodist Church. That's all for this history lesson! Thanks for the video and pray for our world and especially the American corner of it. I'm afraid we're in deep trouble and its far from over. God Bless you and yours. Grant.
Thank you so much for sharing part of your faith story and thanks for visiting the channel! God bless you as well!

Nice and simple. It is very nice. That's what I want some day. Thanks for sharing. 😊

Hello. Can I have a link for the usb c mic and charging adapter. Android samsung s20
Hey is there a quick east way to deploy these to your rv?
I don’t like the idea of leaving these on the ground.
You could just set them on the roof. They're not made to be mounted permanently. amzn.to/3PCPsa3
Tripods are really cheap, for filming
Indeed they are! 🙂
also cat :)
keep Going. you got my subs and likes :)
Thanks!
The question is a little late, does it really work for the LG v60? It doesn't appear in the compatibility guide! I'm thinking of buying the bamboo ink, not the plus, but now I think I'm going to change my mind, will it be used to draw? How about the pressure, tilt, palm rejection?
All I can offer is that it worked for me.
Extremely helpful...Thank you
Thank you so much for watching!!! The more I use the SmallRig, the more I love it!
