"One of the greatest keyboard players of any generation" - Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple MK3)

He's the Jimi Hendrix of the Hammond Organ, a player who can pump, pamper and occasionally pound the most unbelievable sounds from a keyboard: sounds that are intense, ferocious and sometimes transcendent.

Lachy Doley's keyboard has powered acts as diverse as Bernard Fanning, Jimmy Barnes, Powderfinger, The Beautiful Girls, Jimmy Little, and The Widowbirds. Now he has a second album with his own band -- the Lachy Doley Group.

The group's second album "Singer Organ Soul" is a tasty slice of what the band sounds like live -- pumping with energy and good times, and featuring both Lachy's 1957 Hammond C3 organ and his custom-modified Hohner Whammy Clavinet -- the only such machine in the country.

I just saw these guys play this in Durand, Wisconsin of all places, and it slapped so hard I'm gonna be sending my chiropractor bill to Australia. I stood stage right behind a large Boulder that separated me from the rest of the crowd, so I got to see this gem of a performance from about 10 feet away with a completely unobstructed view of the keys. Knocked my socks off and then put them back on for me. Left me walking away wandering what this world is really about.

I'm actually missing watching you play in Durand Wisconsin AS I'M PLAYING THIS for the folks at the venue I'm working at in Eau Claire a few miles away. Sorry to have missed you but couldn't get my gig filled in this time around! I hope you had/have fun and come back soon so I can catch you the next time around!

Not even a keyboard player, just a fan of the Hammond sound and I found this in-depth set-up video fascinating. Thanks for the great music Lachy. Hoping the LD Group will have a chance to play in Thailand someday soon.

Immediately became my faves of yours Lachy. From the first listen until now after seeing this live performance. The emotions the song carry are out of this World and the live version just amplifies them even more. As a humble drummer, Jackie's parts are a delight to play along the record too. Well done everyone and thank you. This is pure Gold.

You could buy a full sized B3 organ or u could purchase an emulator or pedal emulator from Hammond or roland. Also nordelectro. Has a few really fine organ. Presets. U could couple with a midi controller keyboard and a motion sound pro. Everything but the motion sound is relatively cheap . And beyond. That. An xlr to the board and you might as well have the church. Right with u.

You can solo percussively. And. Single note jazz scribbling its. Various harmonic drawbars provide a clear. Nody and skeletal system of the organism's. Full fulsome tonal body. The fast spin setting is. Almost an eruption. Like a volcano Explosive even not to mention it has natural overdrive setting as well

Not to shabby yall. Good. Stuff. Keep it coming Dont get. Overly esoteric or. Melancholy. About why thongs work when they do but wisdom would dictate when its. Really good. U dont question its import u can tell when something feel like miraculous thing. And when it feels a little fishy for one reason or anyother. Another.
