  SO this song was originally sung by Elvis; I'm sure the people commenting here about UB40's rendition of the song, are fully aware of the fact. HOW--EVER, songs of all genres have been "remade" by many, many artists....this group's rendition, one must admit, in reggae, is more stimulating, re-energizing!! Love UB40! March, 2016.

  True fact, but this is one of those cases when the cover is way much better than the original. Same thing happened with Always on my mind that was made popular by Elvis but Pet Shop Boys did a cover that totally eclipsed it.
