If the 10 questions are unscored the requirement of meeting 50 percent of mcq to get essay does it means the requirement is 45 questions being correct inorder to get in to essay Part?
Hi. Yes, that's correct. If 10 of the questions are unscored, you would need to answer 45 out of the 90 scored questions correctly to meet the 50% threshold required to advance to the essay section of the exam. Hello, I have been studying online and reading books. For 3 months and still in unit 1. Needing to review over and over again. In addition it takes too long to answer many questions. The essay questions are very difficult for me. Can you help?😊
Hi. The most important thing is that you create a study plan. By breaking down your studying into bite-sized sessions, you can consume information easier and are more likely to retain it. Can i directly register to IMA cma exam without any institution ?
Hi Janice. Yes, you can directly register without going through any institution. You'll need to join the IMA, pay the entrance fee for the CMA program, and then register for the exam parts. However, to study for the exams, you'll need to purchase study material from course providers since the IMA does not provide it to its members.

Hi Parveen. I'd recommend getting the updated materials for 2024. The CMA exam syllabus is set to change in September 2024, and using the most current study materials will ensure you're preparing with the latest information and standards. Hi. Remote testing was available but has been suspended until further notice due to technical difficulties. For now, in-person testing is the only option. For further details regarding remote testing, please contact IMA's customer support.

Hi Varshitha. Since your graduation is coming up in July 2024, you would register for the CMA program as a student if you are still enrolled as a student at the time of registration. Hi Rose. Once you have completed your two years of full-time work experience (or four years of part-time work), it is time to submit proof. Submitting CMA experience requirements is easy. Hi. After passing both parts of the CMA exam, you will need two continuous years of professional experience in management accounting and/or financial management. This experience can be gained before or within 7 years of passing the exam. Part-time positions can also count towards this requirement as long as they amount to a full-time equivalent. I don't understand if the cma is international accountant why do most employers want a CPA license when you don't use it day to day but you need the Cma knowledge to do day to day reports? It's like a scam to get your CPA then if you move you getting your CPA in another state is like starting over
Hi Clare. Both CMA and CPA are valuable certifications, but they have different focuses and career implications. If you are interested in management accounting and strategic decision-making, CMA may be a better fit. If you are looking for a career in public accounting and auditing, CPA may be a better choice. Hi. You must renew your IMA membership every year or whenever it expires. One of the requirements to earn and be a CMA is paying for IMA's annual membership.

So what about new grads tht aren’t high level accountants how do they break into the field if all entry level stuff is replaced by ai?
Hi Derek. Adopt AI technologies and learn how to use them. That'll give you a leg up over professionals who don't want to or haven't yet embraced AI yet. Take courses that teach you AI in accounting and finance to level up, and obtain certifications that'll help you specialize within the accounting/finance field, i.e. CMA designation. Hi. You don't need to bring your own laptop to the test center. The CMA exam is administered at Prometric testing centers, where they provide all necessary computer equipment.
