1st clear recipe on how to make DIY canned sardines. All others were about using canned sardines for other recipes. I'm craving creamed herring or salty sardines, which frozen are over $120 for 2 lbs. I bought 2 lbs. of Whitings with skin on today for about $8 and I'm going to try this recipe with them tonight. I just need that sardine flavor.
