I don't remember the season it was, but I remember, for the first time that I've seen, where KDB had no impact on the game because he was out marked. When Kante was in his prime, it was like having an extra player in your team. One of the unsung greats.

His first season was amazing. Every time he tried to shoot he scored, he got some assists for good measure. He was all around great player. I don't know what happened to him later, maybe tactical requirements killed his flair?
