Can confirm. My cousin is in Houston area and they’re also without power. Weather has been bad all over this year. I’m from Iowa originally and they’ve been devastated by multiple tornadoes and flooding this year. Hasn’t been terrible here in Missouri where I’m at, yet. Be safe out there everyone.

Squash Bugs are my nemesis! Your audio sounds great…could clearly hear you say “fuck it” 😂😂 As far as upload times, I’ve changed my times so they don’t upload on the hour. I’ll schedule them for 11:06 or something instead of 11:00. Canva is a great tool for making thumbnails and channel art. I have Canva Pro but they have a free version as well. I also don’t have social media, I don’t understand the technology stuff, lol. I’m a nurse so that’s the extent of my techy knowledge. I am a GenXer and also didn’t have internet until I was older. I didn’t have a cell phone until I was 22 and it was a clunky flip phone from Nokia. 🤣 Now I feel old. “Clean them bitches off” 😂😂 Love your authenticity!

Your garden looks really good! What's your favorite tomato variety? I only planted heirloom seeds in my entire garden last year. My favorite heirloom tomato is probably the Cherokee Purple or Pineapple. Geez, I don’t know about people. sorry that happened with your short. 🙄

I only planted the two skyscraper sunflowers this season as a test run for the seeds and the previous owner of the home, apparently had a ton of sunflowers as well, which is overwhelming my side gate. Thank you very much for the shout out!!! These husky cherry tomatoes have been a great one this year! There is a particular garden channel out there that’s fairly big that puts out videos in a manner that makes me believe that he (just recorded) it. Meaning, he will verbalize the date and not show you on his phone, Or other device. And he seems to post videos with in an hour of viewing mine, about the same subject or content that I just spoke about. I know how quickly you can upload a video. I record edit and upload same day multiple times per day. Which means the last few videos I posted, that I caught him posting within an hour of watching mine. He is literally checking out my content to make an excuse to have a video. Also, I too can fake a six month fertilizer test within an hour of recording every bit of footage and saying that it has been, six months… when I catch him doing that, that is why the next video that I post will show my time date stamp on my phone. This is my way to keep my video secure and I have all the raw footage to prove that I made this video first. Anyway, I apologize for the long rant, but this is just the shorthand of what happened. Thank you so very much for being a continued subscriber watching my videos! I wish you the best of your week and look forward to the upcoming video.

I’m loyal to a fault 🤷🏼♀️and am very interested in growing WITH my fellow small KZreadrs. I’m not interested or motivated by competition or one upping the next guy. I feel like we’re all in this together so why do something that harms another channel or steal someone else’s work for your own gain? I don’t know, people have lost their way the last several years. I only follow creators who inspire me in one way or another. Thanks for being authentic. That’s the top thing I look for when I subscribe to a channel. That’s why I’m here. Your other channel inspired me and this one continues to.

That’s exciting to get all that water storage with the house! I noticed the connection hose was at the top? So both barrels have spigot? Otherwise only one would empty. Water is the most important thing to keep extra of on hand for emergencies, and I’m jealous how much capacity you have there! I just have 2 • 50 gallon barrels.

Each IBC cage tote can hold 300 Gallons. Once set up, I’ll have 600 Gallons.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max that I’m using for my daily camera is my old phone from two years ago. I also have a 13 Pro Max from years prior that I’m also going to be using as a second camera that probably won’t have any of the camera gear on it, but it should pick up enough video footage that I could just add my voice later. About three months ago I got the iPhone 15 Pro Max. So with that said I’m still utilizing my resources instead of going out and purchasing a $1500 camera. I just built a damn good quality camera for 150 bucks. Yes I may subscriber. I can’t figure out how to see my subscribers either. Either they have their subscriptions set to private or I only have 32 subscribers. But I have damn near 8000 views. That’s why I’ve been adding the like and subscribe cons on the screen on most of my videos as a reminder to please subscribe…. I have my subscriptions set to public but again I still don’t know how to prove that. I’m not very familiar with youtubes back end settings.

I’m researching the best type of microphone for what I’m doing, and I want to be able to pick something out that is reasonably priced that the every day person could purchase by saving up a little money, each payday or being able to purchase something that’s not so expensive within one payday. That’s what my channel is about, keeping things cheap for every day people , Real People in their Real Backyard.😉
