They had two formal nights but a lot less seemed to take part than other cruise lines. The included drinks collection was quite decent I think. There should be a menu coming on an upcoming vlog.

Haha..love these videos. Ive been thinking of going voice ocer for my cruise videos as I juat can't film myself on a cruise ship - it feels odd even though Ive done during other forms if travel. I can never fathom getting the b-roll for the voice over, etc. I like the kength of these so maybe shorter is also the answer.

Appreciate it! Voiceovers are a good way to get over the social awkwardness of filming yourself in public. I find that over time I'm going more towards that "classic" vlogging style. My old style was 100% b-roll so it's been a gradual transition for me. Ultimately, you need to experiment and find the style that suits you.

Appreciate that! Honesty, it was the awkwardness of travelling solo. This was one of my earlier cruises and therefore I guess went for the easier option. Don't worry though, on my following Arvia series I went to all the places to eat (free ones anyway!)

That isn’t a sunburn, it’s a rash either from an insect bite or a plant you brushed against. You can treat such rashes with an anti-inflammatory, antipruritic ointment like betamethasone or calamine lotion which is over-the-counter and therefore might be more readily available.

Just reminded that when we were in St Lucia we did a tour which ended up at a rum factory and I ended up three sheets to the wind, a bit like you ate the end of your evening. Enjoyable non the less.

Ahh St Lucia that brings back memories especially back in port at the Rum therapy bar. I had one bottle of lager and one rum punch and felt ill so went back on the ship and I was not seen again until the next morning. Beautiful island and possibly my favourite ❤️

Brilliant videos. Just watched everyday of your cruise one after the other 😀. We are on Azura next July, doing Greece again. We've done Greece on Oceana and RC. I love Greece. We prefer the buffet too, although we do have the odd meal in the mdr, and then visit the buffet 😂🤣. I'll be keeping a look out for more of your videos x

Cool. I priced up a Marella cruise and they are so expensive and even more than Cunard. I get they are all inclusive but unless you are a drinker, there isn’t a lot in it and I bet they don’t let you take cans of pop onboard for your cabin

I booked this cruise during a promotion so ended up paying around £130 a day which wasn't far off P&O prices! It was about the same as my Arvia transatlantic last year, but had an extra three days, an extra flight and included drinks. I'm not sure about the taking drinks onboard as they had removed the fridges from the cabins (at least they did in mine!) but would assume they'd be ok with this?

We prefer the buffet too, although we do have the odd meal in the mdr, and then visit the buffet 😂🤣. I'll be keeping a look out for more of your videos x

@@CaptureCruisingBring it on! Re the tissue box holder: either housekeeping forgot to fill it or the cruise line decided it’s redundant given there’s already toilet paper and there’s a box of tissue in the room itself.

Cool. I priced up a Marella cruise and they are so expensive and even more than Cunard. I get they are all inclusive but unless you are a drinker, there isn’t a lot in it and I bet they don’t let you take cans of pop onboard for your cabin
I booked this cruise during a promotion so ended up paying around £130 a day which wasn't far off P&O prices! It was about the same as my Arvia transatlantic last year, but had an extra three days, an extra flight and included drinks. I'm not sure about the taking drinks onboard as they had removed the fridges from the cabins (at least they did in mine!) but would assume they'd be ok with this?
