Really close to booking this hotel. One of the things I want to see in Mexico is native iguanas. I heard that in a lot of resorts in Mexico have iguanas just walking around. Is this so with this hotel?

it only about a 3-4min swim. Around 150ft from shore, and it only about 10-15ft deep. You snorkel it if you wanted.

I would give the food 5. I always found something I liked, but there’s definitely better hotels are better food, but this is a great family hotel and you can’t beat the price.

Lots of people complained about the pools being dirty. Did you have any problems with that?
It a family hotel with lots of kids, and jungle all around the pools, so I could see at times that being a problem. But not when I was there.

They have a small sandy beach. I didn’t need water shoes. As for tours, I just 3 days of scuba.

do you happen to know if there are any new rules on limits to reservations to the a la carte restaurants depending on number of nights stayed at resort or even the difference on the royal deluxe room exclusive a la carte (was this one included in your video)? Thanks
Great video. What’s the difference between the regular rooms and club level? Also, how busy is the hotel? Like it’s the kind of place we’re fighting for lounge chairs by the pool? Initially, we thought about staying at the st Regis or Waldorf but not sure they are a good choice for young kids.
At the club level, you'll enjoy premium drinks and rooms with better views. As for the crowd, it varies depending on the time of year. During peak times like spring break and from June to August, it tends to be a bit busier. However, this is typical for hotels in Mexico. This hotel is especially ideal for families with features like a sea wall that blocks large waves and dolphins on the property. We did a night time swim around 9pm and no one said anything to us.

It’s called a lagoon the waves are way too strong so they are blocked to keep us safe
Is it hot and good for swimming at this time of year in February?
It will be around 75-90 around Feb. The water is normal good as long as the seaweed doesn't come in.

Disgusting absolutely disgusting. Poor babies exploited for no other than making a few dollars, parents are killed and babies snatched for these low life's to make a few bucks. Tourists are no better than these people , I saw these cubs in that shop & the amount of people waiting to take their photo with them I was shocked

We have been to this resort 3 times. I understand that after Ava Resort is open this resort will be remodeled and be either an all adult resort or a UNICO.
I know it going to be remodeled. I didn't know it was going to be adults only though.
It is an awesome resort! We have been there 3 times and are scheduled to go again in May.

No you have to book on the adults side. But it small part of the hotel. Your not missing much.

We are heading to this area shortly and don't know too much about it. Super curious as to why there is a Staten Island Ferry there?

Great video 👍🏻Thanks for sharing. Do they serve premium, top shelf alcohol or do you have to request it? I will be going there soon and since it’s an expensive all inclusive, I was just curious and hope it’s included and there isn’t an extra cost for premium alcohol
That have better than most of your all inclusive hotels. But the really high end you have to pay extra for.
