Ali Brown

Ali Brown

Hey Y'all! Just a little channel where we can explore the fabulous world of Traveler's Notebooks, planning, journaling and all things craftay. I'm just a big nerd that loves to release creativity in as many outlets possible.

My motto has and always will be:
"Lack of a creativity is constipation of the soul." -Ali Brown haha, yup, that one's all me ;)

You will find videos here on my favorite notebooks and notebook setups, journaling tips, Project Life Adventures, product discoveries, delightful digits painting, some of our homeschool journey and just random rambles. I hope to inspire YOU to release the things in your life, whether it be physical things/clutter, emotions or even people that are producing negativity in your life, so that you can free your heart and mind of those blockages and get back to doing what The Creator created YOU for...to create. Then you will find joy and excitement as you also inspire those in your life and share what you UNIQUELY have to offer. xoxo

Hi Ali, any thoughts for a reliable affordable printer for stickers. The 8550 is not in my budget, I am just getting started with my crafting and if things go well, I would eventually like to try to sell some. Thank so much!!

Thank you! I have finally decided to take the plunge and be serious about making lifestyle changes. My husband said he can tell the difference in me this time. Your videos gave me another perspective on the process. It has impacted my view on how to look at the process. I’m looking forward to the next video

Woah, I feel like I am in a very similar situation - I also do mostly traditional art and I was looking at these two exact models tge most, and at the beginning I was also concerned about it maybe being a pigment one, so as to have a better lightfastness, but then the price hits you (especially as a student 😅) And I also have the exact same scanner at home, for about 7 years now 🤣 And I love it too ☺️💕 I'm getting more and more convinced for this particular model 👀 the main thing I'm concerned about is some people report there are metal elements that cause indents in their prints, especially in thicker paper 🤔

I just bought a new to me 1956 Smith-Corona Silent Super in pristine condition. Has barely been used. Mine is a he also. His name is Hemingway. I also have a 1956 Royal Quiet de Luxe that is turquoise .. She is beautiful. Had forgotten that I had her. I came upon a vintage typewriter KZread channel and that made me remember. This was 6 days ago and I've been typing full speed. Have a blessed day. LOL! I just realized this episode was 7 years ago. Oh, well.

Have you tested your stickers under the sun? I would like to purchase a printer that can print great quality, and the color won't fade under direct sunlight. Any help would greatly be appreciated. If anything I can buy a sticker from you and tested too 😊

Can I just say, the way that your desk is cluttered makes me feel so comforted 😭A lot of the planner/stationery channels I watch have a very minimal clean desk and mine is always covered in things with very little empty space, just enough for writing in a journal. I feel like I'm normal now LOL

Way to go David! It's a very dreamy coop. If you don't have access to a 3D printer, what suggestions do you have for rain gutters? I have a coop. The chicks are yet to be in it, so I'm getting things ready. I live in TN, so we get all sorts of different weather. Appreciate any tips, thank you!

Lol a friend and I were discussing what the most expensive livestock to get into was chickens 😂We are currently building our dream chicken coop and run and we have used a lot of left over or reclaimed material and it is still costing us thousands, but there really is no comparison to knowing where your eggs are coming from.

I was the same type of person I was actually depressed when I decided I had to give up my sugary creamer! (My joints hurt SO bad.) I tested different sugar free syrups and different types of plant milks. I've finally found the BEST combo! My perfect combo is 10 oz of Starbucks Toasted Graham kcup, 2 pumps of Torani's Sugarfree salted caramel syrup, a 2 tbs half & half.... SO good! If I'm looking for an additional kick of dessert coffee I will give myself sugarfree whipped cream & a small drizzle of smuckers sugarfree caramel syrup... it is so flipping good!!

Thank you so much for these talks. I am not having trouble right now..unfortunately my blood sugar numbers made me wake up last June. They say if you want something go for it. I have a fantastic nurse practitioner who walked through my 10 month journey and I have lost 28 pounds. Now it is on me to keep going. I have given up so much of the treats I like, but ya know what, i have not missed the sugar and I too feel fantastic!! You message is so powerful, I only hope that everyone watching this that is having difficulty finds someone that can assist them.

Ali, thank you for sharing! I have struggled with my weight my whole life; having PCOS makes it so easy to gain weight if I'm not in healthy practices. When I was 19/20 I was my lowest adult weight, which I think was around 170, and I looked good! If I weighed much less than that I would've looked too skinny! I gotta get this scan done because I KNOW I have dense bones lol.
