This is awesome! I have a mk8 Honda Civic (FN3) 2.2 i-CDTI Type-S GT with a stage 1 remap from Celtic Tuning & a custom made turbo-back exhaust system. Current performance on dyno is: 199bhp @ 3900rpm 472nm torque @ 2200rpm I’ve been looking for a company that can tune a Honda N22A2 engine as I want to spend some ££ on it. Is this something EcuTek can help with?

Love the app but i prefear the remap with vtec coming in at 5600 is there a way to change this
@tim90xАй бұрын
Will they be preinstalled with Base map or will it be by download the only reason I ask is because I purchased 550 from another company when they were doing the haltech b series stuff and basically, they ignored me after I purchased haltech from them. I made my own plug and play harness. And had to figure out trigger settings myself that was the whole point of purchasing it.
@tpwengineeringАй бұрын
They will be supplied with a calibration that will allow the car to be started and tested then idea is you get it to someone like ourselves to actually tune the car to the mods and get the best out of it all. We will also be doing ECUs supplied with a control map all configured for specific mods as well with portions of the settings locked out for series racing which also allows access to diagnostics, sensors and expansion without having access to actual performance mapping to ensure compliance to series regulations the same as we have already been doing with the sealed Civic Cup ECU systems 👍

Does 550 Run Close Loop knock control and can it read knock per cylinder. maybe that was the 1500. Also, my question is I already own 550 will you be selling the adapter harness and base map as a package?
@tpwengineeringАй бұрын
If you want all that you need a far more advanced ECU to do knock per cylinder as even the E1500 only has 1 channel. Also no plans to sell harnesses and maps individually at this time as we are concentrating on delivering the package as a whole at this stage but it probably will come.

We already have PnP solutions for 8th gen cars using Haltech but it doesn't run the stock dash unfortunately but then again most people opting for this level of control will be planning on something like an IC7 dash to display more data anyway. I’ve tuned many Fk8s. P700 doesn’t make big power what so ever. An mhi stage 2 makes more power cause it has proper proportional turbine to compressor flow. Mhi makes 40-50whp over stock turbo on 98 Ron when tuned right. You can definitely mitigate spool losses to spool by 3700 on mhi stage 2 with proper cam timing.
@RelaxAndSmokeMeth6 ай бұрын
do you recommend getting the xdi fuel pump with the mhi stage 2 turbo? I have a downpipe, front pipe, intercooler and hondata just want to have everything I need before install. not aiming for 500hp either. High 300s low 400s is ideal. Thank you
