Would you recommend 18Oz for sparring?

I'm looking at a pair of 16oz fly gloves but no stock so I'm thinking of going 14 or 18 which one should I get. I'm 79-80 kg or about 175 pounds

@Dalton Webb if u can't find 16oz u should get 18oz. 14oz is too small for a 175lbs. But if u wanna work on your speed when doing mitt work I suggest the 14oz. If u can afford both u should get 18oz for bag work and 16oz for sparring

Man you guys really want to learn to fight, I'll teach you how to be a C.i.a. hand to hand combat, potential, and even learn combat knife hand to hand combat, even secret blocking techniques, where you will never get hit in a fight, and even a ancient form of qi gong formations, called iron thread, if learn correctly, with that of a heart of a warrior, you can develop the strength of 9 men, literally it took me years to finally master the understanding of this art, you will learn to channel your energy to plant your fighting stance, were you become so strong like a tree, even the strongest person, even if they try to move you off balance, or try to move you from your position, you will remain like a tree, untouched not even the rock will be able to lift you off the ground or even push you off position, you will not even bugde one bit, to others it'll feel like if they are pushing a parked car, you will remain like that until you move yourself, or even a technique where you can literally pull out a small tree from it's roots, or even make a dent in a tree trunk, sounds impossible huh, but it's not, I've done it and it took me over 5 years to understand and learn these techniques, it can be done, the human body is powerful, then most people think, very powerful if train the right way

$2500 would get you about 16 months of 1 on 1 boxing lessons twice a week. And that is higher end. Just to go to a decent gym would be around 83 months for $2500. Seems cool but they gotta bring the price down.

Looks terrible for the price. If you want to learn to box, go to a boxing club. You will end up with poor form doing this at home. Better off with a traditional bag

@@levicondren9662 I have both 14oz and 18oz. I workout in my 18oz and sparr in my 14oz. U have to go to Everlast.com and order the Everlast Elite with evershield. They run about $120 I believe but they're well worth the investment. The one's at Big 5 or Dicks sporting are the cheap ones. U must go to Everlast.com and get the real deals with the real leather. I've had mine for almost 5 years and they're still in excellent condition
