Thanks for showing this I have a lot of 6 volt batteries from old golf carts and I want to put them to good use
I like this. I would not have thought of this. How did these hold up in the wind? I have a 25 foot class B looking to downsize to a 19 foot. I used the super mounting tape for RVs to mount my solar panels. Three 200 Watts. And they held up very well except the front one. Which flew off. Which is annoying cuz I checked the panels that morning. But the panels hiding behind the AC were fine. So the wind really beat that front one. I am wondering if you had that issue with these or have a solution cuz the 19 foots ones I am looking at will also not have anything in front of them to block the wind.
Very helpful video
I am looking at both those RVs now. I am going to tour the Pleasure Way soon. And I am trying to get a tour of the Coachman but the woman hasn't been very responsive. Funny enough the ones I am looking at are the other layouts of these. The coachman has the dinette in the back instead of the bathroom and the Pleasure way has the more square looking back instead of the two couches side by side. Since you have been in both, maybe you can help me out. Looking back which one of these would you prefer? I am a gamer. I want to put two 300 watt solar panels on the roof if I can. I want a space for my computer. I am fine with just a toilet rather than a whole wet bath. And i am 6 feet 200 lbs so I am not sure I would fit comfortably in the enclosed bathroom or on the Coachman couch or the Pleasureway bed. So which one of these did you like more? Whichever one you chose, do you regret it after some time with it or were you relieved or do you think you would of be just as happy with the other?
Thank u
Some holes saw arbours allow you to stack one wholesale inside of another so use a large wholesale as a guide for the bigger one
Were did you get everything?
If you wire the 6 volt batteries in series and then run them parallel the amp hours don't change. You just have a large 12 volt bank with the same amp hours. I live off the grid .enough said
Do you get 110vpower if you don’t run the generator and you don’t plug in external power?
You should have put in a 3,000 watt pure sine wave inverter. My newer camper AC uses over 2,000 watts so very doubtful that older model work. Sorry.
I always like those ford hubcaps for some reason
It’s on a ford, not Dodge, that interested me right away, lol
90 bucks for a damn usb fan that will likely burn out in a few years of heavy use.... Hard pass😂
would these batteries work? 65 Duralast gold diesel batteries.
This video should have been 2 minutes tops. I want my time back.
too Bad it doesn't come with an external thermostat rather than just a switch. Also kinda silly many of the factory 6 gal propane installs are just a switch and a thermal fuse for overheating risks. While I mostly boondock will be getting a kit like this. Looks like is about hundo on Azon. There is another brand called hot rod as well. At 400 Watts, I'll try and plug in a circuit that won't trio with other appliances going. Corner cutting rv manufacturers, these tanks should installed factory with both 110 and propane hybrid on thermostats.
Carbon monoxide detectors should be like the peopane detector ..situated below knee level. They are a complete pain in the arse I& the battery to your rig * gets low or .. if they are near a gray tank source, or if someone has sprayed airfreshener ...AND ..when they decide their life is done! That always happens at 3 am, and when neighbors are too close! I literally had to snip my wires, which blew the fuse, but it wouldn’t reset, and the light was blinking 3 green 3 red ..that’s when I read the back of the unit with a triple huge magnifying glass! You cannot reset it in that idiotic cycle! Mine was 7 yrs old. Also, if you’ve reglued anything, or laid new Lino or carpet, they off fume gases fir approx 3 months and different cleaning supplies, and heat or cold will Definitely make any rational sane person crazy! Keep it vacuumed and good luck!
I just got the same van! I love the plug and your plans thanks for the inspiration!

BS this is a 12V to 120...the power source is 12V so the title is BS
6 volt
So if I have 8 t20 batteries s volt wired for series and parallel for a total of 900 Amp hours at 225ah per battery...is a 5000 watt inverter to much or not enough. Or is it within workable parameters. ANYBODY?
Great 👍 appreciate I learn a lot
Quiet, easy setup, affordable. Had it up and running in 5 minutes
God bless you sir! Thank you for sharing! Safe travels! Love the van:)
I have this fan that I purchased in 2016. Mine is made in the U.S. I am using it to keep my chickens cool in the 93 degree temperature we are experiencing. I have it being powered by my Ecoflow River 2 Pro power station that is being supplied by a solar panel. I was searching for another DC powered fan and was surprised to have the one I have being still made and recommended as the best vent fan.
Hi mate watched your video on 19 Samsung good to watch I have went on amazon and found 22 inch Samsung TV with 14 v on back of TV will this work the same way you have done yours please
Using 10 amps for a swamp cooler fan seems like a waste when you could get a Fridgidaire 5000 BTU air conditioner that will draw a bit more amps than the swamp fan but actually put out COLD air. The AC compressor won't run constantly, but when it does kick on you get actual cold air not swamp air. Also, you need to get something MUCH BETTER to cover your front windows to deflect the sun / heat, that curtain isn't doing much besides blocking a bit of light. It's a must to have an insulated windshield cover, that is where we get the most incoming heat
Dang Bro, great explanation! I had no idea that you can combine series and parallel. Huge help!!!!! God bless you for this!!!!!
thank you for this excellent video and explanation on series and parallel connection. Very easy to understand...cheers from Fiji
Why was it so much cheaper back in the days!?! Crazy!
I had a panda I loved it; unfortunately it was a refurb & the control panel failed so I had to get rid of it. But it had very very strong agitation & spin cycle & got my clothes not only clean but very dry, never needed to use a dryer, hang dry worked great, also my panda model had a very strong drain pump. I replaced it with a Kumio that has larger capacity but less agitation & spin...which is probably better in the long run due to less stress on the parts. Also the Kumio came with a TWO YEAR warranty-so that was a great reason for me to go with that brand. (& it also has a drain pump.)
You explain how to hook up the draw power , which post should we charge the batteries, I think it’s the two other opposite right.
cool
Making use of the kzread.infoUgkxcJ22tnHH9l1vjdIdEIG27iOG55P7LXI8 reconditioning plan, I just saved 2 auto batteries from being completely junked. The guides were very simple to follow. I wish I would have found this years ago! You may use the guide to recondition any battery type
Hello The Ramblin CamperVan Man, thank you for this great video. I have a question. You mentioned you use a "Volt Meter" to check the health of your Battery before buying it. What brand of "Volt Meter" do you recommend? Thank you.
I've gone through a lot of videos on KZread so far this best explanation I've seen. Are you using any battery monitor that can read over 500ah? I have a similar set for home same battery, but mine is 24v 8 battery is. I'm looking for a battery monitor that can go over 500ah.
I yanked my converter out. It was getting hot. How can I run appliances and light with 110 votts and no 12 volt. Is there a way
Number one thing with these washers use liquid don't use pods
I have the one from Black & Decker it is the same exact washer works great no problems got it for 140 bucks a closeout sale brand new had it over a year it works fine no problems whatsoever knock on wood
Do you have a link for it
Great Informational video. So the key is to buy a TV with any 12 to 14 Volt plug on the back of the TV, correct? It seems like the TVs have that universal plug on the back of the TV. I will have to do some research. Thanks.
What is a good charger for that setup?
Excellent. Thank you
Where the dor of the bathroom
Now 299.99!
great vid thanks
How do you come up with 675ah? My calculations got me 1,350ah. Getting 450ah from each set. 450x3=1,350ah
Think it's what you say if you only do 6 volts ...his is 12 volts ....
just seeing your video great information very helpful…i recently purchased a 1996 pleasure way i call it my little gem…she’s in good condition just a’lil tlc
Great review, now I want one but it's $300 at Home Depot now! I have another make washer now, same size, but it really ties the clothes and knots and doesn't have option for a second rinse. The single rinse is not sufficient. I have to untangle clothes between wash and rinse cycle to help them rinse better. Can it be used with hot water?
