  This bank supports the Iditarod, an inhumane race in which dogs are tortured and killed in the name of "sport". The bank will not sever its ties to legalized murder because it prefers money to the lives of dogs. Hopefully after the next W Street bubble bursts, they will go out of business.

  Having grown up in Alaska and having family that has done this race, this is about as far from the truth as one could reach. These dogs love to work and run this race. I would encourage you to come see the race and experience this first hand.

  @@livinginak I have seen pictures of dogs from the race, bloody paws and all. This year there are 34 "mushers", the lowest number in the 50 years since the race began. It's progress, but I and many people I know would never visit Alaska until the race is no more (and I would love to see Alaska). I'm not picking on your state, either. I wouldn't visit KY or any other state with horse racing or dog racing. These animals are horribly abused, and they have no choice. I read that there are far less mushers bc of dog food prices, entry costs, etc. I hope that protesters have also had something to do with it. Here's hoping that it's over by next year.

  Cable TV is ready available in most metro areas in Alaska. We tend to find most of our client tend to stream now via streaming services though.
