Interesting that the UA Sphere wasn't on the list. Maybe once the novelty wears off, it's not as useful or fun as it first seemed?
Is Warren back in the UK? Or is this just a flying visit?
very nice new podcast guys, appreciated it! some wonderful insights. love you lots 🖤
Great Vid! I would love to upgrade from my iLoud Micros to these. 2 questions though 1st what was the input to them from? (I think maybe the clarett?) and where was flop cat? ;)
thanks warren 😊. 🏴
He is similar to Alex Lifeson in that he puts sugar on the track. Whatever “it” is, he has it. He is 76 years old here. Amazing. Sharp as a tack.
Creativity left most of these industries decades ago
THE ENDING !!! XD
Man I love his honesty, I believe him. I would pay him for his service.
Congrats on winning! Personally, I think on the grand prize winner mix, the vocals are too far back/just not loud enough, and the focus seems to be more on the guitars instead. EQ/compression and sonic textures sound fantastic but with that thickness I would have adjusted the levels a bit differently. The vocals seem to be getting buried a bit. Nice work though!
That Snare…I would love first chance at owning it after you😊 Money is not a consideration.
✨️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Amazing
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥✨️amazing
I had the Mk1's. Loved them. They are now sitting in the Far East in my brothers military dorm. He absolutely loves them. I'm considering picking up the Mk 2's.
Ehhh, ...What's up? Doc!
😅
This is blur's best album and anyone that says otherwise is wrong
Absolutely wonderful interview. Great guy. Thanks for this.
What a fantastic studio!! Such a fantastic setup and build! I love how you have a nice size Control room and the 2 Isolated booths!! Great Video!!
😂
My Pops bought his Les Paul from ya'll decades ago. Used to travel from Roanoke, VA. to buy any major equipment he needed, and still speaks very highly of your store. As a DJ and aapiring music producer, I will be visiting your store very soon, and am looking forward to it. Cheers, ya'll.
As a drummer into my 51st year of playing, this was extremely enjoyable and educational. To cut to the chase, as presented, I would most certainly go with Nolly's approach and final sound. First of all, great drumming. That makes a huge difference. And the kit is well prepared for the session. Again, very important. I always want my drums in the most wide-open space it can be. It would have been nice to just hear the drums, even with just a two-mic setup as to how it sounded naturally in the room. My guess would be that Nolly's location would afford a more expansive and dynamic location vs. being closer to the back wall approach used by Warren. I am very impressed with the backwards approach of recording the kit from the batter side. His description of having basically three levels of sounds, each with specific characteristics, is brilliant. The snare drum, I haven't used a wood shell drum since I was in Jr. High in the mid 70's, exploded to life when those rear remote mics were engaged. While I would prefer the Black Beauty snare...what Nolly got out of a very high-quality snare drum is very nice. It just feels more "alive" to my ears. And as a player, that is inspiring and will most certainly contribute to me wanting to deliver the best tracks I possibly could!
I cat believe how many tracks you recorded for such a basic song 🤔
I really want to like Luna and I’m sure I will, once they get their ARA plugin support sorted and fix the midi editor.
Machine head is still one of my favorites.
Relax, I did it.
0:30 that fake blur, with all due respect, no.
Don't stand behind the speakers when you room correcting them
Great interview!😊
Thanks ever so much
great video but i wish you added the timestamp cues
That’s wasn’t a thing 3 years ago when we filmed this! On a plane, and I can answer questions but can’t stream, when I get time I’ll do it for you!
One of the best interviews, of a great player and songwriter!!!!!❤
I just discovered him! He is very talented!
Stephen Lipson - Truth! Great interview
Best Sweetwater tour ever
We can now see why Sweetwater is so successful, customer support, everything you need
Sweetwater is amazing, bought a Fender 50th Anniversary in 2004 and it was perfect
Very detailed and helpful. Thank you
el problema con la calibración es que habían muchas personas en el recinto, puede haber alguna imperfección debido a ello
Melijah Rage.
Love those ,basically love how the technology evolved up to a point being able to travel literally with your studio
Thanks ever so much for sharing!!
What plugin are you using to make drums?
Good overview of these complex musical compilations.
Mixed those tracks and they are great. Xavier' vocal track had crazy drum bleed in it that was tricky. Warren' solo was Major Larry Carlton. Great stuff! Great song!
HUGE Larry Carlton fan! We wanted Steely Dan on this!
@@Producelikeapro Always a good choice
Nice❣️
Thanks ever so much
I'm an 80's kid from the U.S. This is one of my favorite 80's song. It's a classic!
