    Nice ride! I agree about the stalks! I could learn to live with turn indicator buttons so long as they activate reliably. But I had a similar reaction to the elimination of the drive selector stalk during my test drive. I attempted both a three-point-turn and manual parallel parking and it was slow and awkward to look to the screen and swipe each time I changed direction. I have heard many people say, "you get used to it".

    Love that Tesla really improved the quality and the overall experience. This car is kinda insane for the price. I don't think there is anything brand new that offers what this car does for around $50,000.

    Big difference between long range and this?

  • @ProXcaliber
    @ProXcaliber3 күн бұрын

    Depends on what you are after. If you want performance, then yes this is pretty insane as far as performance goes, while the long range still offers decent performance but not on the same level. If you care more about range, however, the long range is definitely the way to go. This performance model has newer suspension that make it much more customizable to the driving as well.

    Just did a trip from Miami to Orlando, Florida, left home with 100% and got to my destination with around 25%. It was an afternoon drive, with a decent portion of it having awful rainy weather and traffic because of it. On a day to day though, I only charge to around 70% and drive around 50 miles per day, leaving me with about 60% by the end of the day. These things are crazy efficient. Also, keep in mind that technically anywhere there is power is a place you can charge. You don't only have to use Tesla chargers as there are adapters to use 3rd party charging stations, or you can also use the standard mobile charger to plug into a regular wall outlet. How fast or slow it charges can vary depending on what you are using to charge.
