  TV series called "Family Tree" starring Nina Conti & Chris O'Dowd. Only one series of 8 episodes made as far as I know.

  Come on. She's a comedian. Born to make people laugh. She's very humorous and incredibly talented. Noone wants Nina to do something else than being a ventriloquist and this job is obviously one that makes her happy and all her fans too. What the mental condition is concerned: we humans generally are all a bit mental. A person that has the ability to mirror this without offending anyone is called a jester or a fool. That is what she is. This world has everything in abundance except love. And of this medicine just a few people have and have to give away and Nina has plenty of it to give. She's lovely.
