  Going off at a tangent ... A ship that size will nevva evva evva be BATTERY electric. The idea is completely absurd. For several different reasons. Yes I know about the Greenwater-1. It's a toy. And yes I know many are DIESEL electric. I am talking about BATTERY.

  It is hard to believe that this monsters are able to go up on the river Shelde. It is curving back and forth and tend to thick fog in the morning. When I was serving in the German merchant marine on 7 ships we have gone up on the river no less than 30 times. Sometimes we had to stop or even anchor when the fog was thick as pea soup. Now days with superior technology, more deeper dredging and well trained pilots it is possible.

  Going up the Shelde river is quite difficult when it gets fogy. I had gone up around 30 times and some time we had to stop do to blind visibility. That was 60+ years ego but now with better GPS and constant dredging must have improved.

  Ehm so what is the point of squeezing in another 130 or so container spots when you then drive it around half empty? But they made sure to get some MAERSK containers on the outside, just to rub it in, I guess ;-)

  Beautiful shots as usual. But only container vessels and cruise ships? Outsiders will think there's nothing else. Show them once in a while a crude oil tanker, a chemical tanker, a LNG, a reefer, a pure car carrier, a Roro and a mixed car/container vessel (Grimaldi 212 or 236 meter and ACL 300m). Thanks for the great shots!
