Using the vest helps a lot. Tried to rest it on my bare shoulder and it hurts to the point you have to stop once in a while. Might add some rubber band for protection.
I think the zipper storage varies by manufacturer. Kokatat currently (2022/2023) recommends storing the suits with the zippers closed.
I have this problem with my Perception Sole kayak. I wish you had a close up on the sanding process...I can't see what surface you are sanding.

HI! What is the weight of this ? I was looking at a 10kg Kayak for Spring and I would have about 200m to walk with it alone from my house to the lake.
Thats not terribly heavy for a kayak, I've seen some basic models that are almost double in weight

Kayak weighs 55 pounds, again do not try this if you can not lift your kayak to your shoulder easily. thanks john
