Hello friend, While an electric is an instrument that we often associate with guys who shred, or play individual notes and we probably consider an acoustic to be more of a rhythm instrument, the basics are the same. Steve is a very good teacher, but if you want another name, Justin Sandicoe is someone you could search for.
