Wow, it looks overwhelming. I'm cleaning a retired fire/1st responder truck and discovered a large rodent nest where all the wires plug into their respective places & I'm glad I don't have to be the one that figures out that mess.
Great clip Chad. Love seeing the variety of choices running through the plant.
This is the type of stuff i wanna see on youtube. This is interesting
Better company name: all the king's horses
Have you installed a cafs unit on an ambulance before?
Yes we have! If you want more info on them you can reach out to [email protected] and we can answer all your questions.
While being transported to hospital I told my EMT avery interested and bout this and he was very interested.
I work for Palfinger in Oklahoma City, running all the electric and love seeing these videos!
Wanaque is My Post. Small World.
Are you guys doing any design automation with something like Driveworks or EpicorCPQ?
Yes, our design team uses SOLIDWORKS in the design process of our ambulances.
@plcustom Driveworks or another similar CPQ would be used to automate Solidworks. You would use it to generate various sizes of similar components automatically, like a door assembly for example. It would generate all the parts and drawings for a new door in minutes vs hours of manually resizing in Solidworks. If you're not using an automation software, you should really look into it. It will save engineering time for mundane tasks and improve your product standardization.
Do searthc for a video by Ronald Rolfsen Ambulance Design ! This video is more then 10 years old... kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYKIp9GIp5vVcqQ.htmlsi=P4V8mjV2ka8Zoqui
It can be incredibly tedious building out wiring harnesses, but so rewarding when its complete.
Ambulance 706!!!!❤
Holy shit. Nice work.

Very interesting! Any plans to talk about when you install warning lights?

Muito linda.
THAT LOOKS LIKE Z71??
Excellent video
Thirty something lights on the this truck, no wonder there are crashes around emergency vehicles
The amount of lighting has nothing to do with it. You might need to educate yourself before doing those “investigations”
@@bscvfd2133 Please provide the reference as to how much or many lights are appropriate for a sedan or suv. I am unable to locate a reference.
If there are still crashes, it needs more lights to be seen. Unfortunately most fire departments have very tight budgets and can't afford to put more lights on their trucks.
i like the light bar it has that old light look
It really needs some rotators
@@whosthis1230 I completely agree with you! I personally have always liked rotators over strobes and led's anyway.
looks like an mx7000
@@whosthis1230 agreed
Sweet looking medium rescue!
How much did the department pay
Hello, feel free to reach out to [email protected] for the specifics about these vehicles. Thanks!
Somebody please tell me why tf EMS need a police package Tahoe??? Biggest waste of tax payer money ever
Wdym!? Don't see a "police package", standard paramedic car, nothing special... The amount of lights is a bit to much, but most of the volunteer ems/fire services have little bit of a christmastree setup problem for whatever reason. The Pushbar is nothing special and usefull, nice to have. Doesn't cost that much.
@@commanderb-tron931 yeah it’s a police package Tahoe “PPV”. They don’t need a push bar, not doing any pit maneuvers as a paramedic and can’t put a stretcher or a fire hose in one so what’s the point? There is none. Like I said…complete waste of money
@@copenhagen665 those pushbars are often used to push vehicles of the road or as fixing point while in a rescue ops, hard point for lights ect..Additional cost are low and nothing extraordinary. The ppv package is just a other name for "workhorse" edition. Most agency's will order ppv based vehicles for fire/ems service, couldn't imagine ordering civil version as a service vehicle.
Awesome my home state!!!
Nice build. Did you add any leveling kit to the rear to fix the “Tahoe squat” ?
Thanks! No this particular Chevy didn't get any leveling kits but we have a few in-process Tahoes that are getting a rear 2 in. lift/level kit installed.
Is there a way to get the blue prints for this? I work for a flycar agency and we need something similar 👀
You can reach out to [email protected] and they should be able to help with that. Thanks!
