Everyone beginner needs to see this...not enough is spoken about about the use of the knobs instead of buying pedals

It looks like your guitar is resting on the cord plug in part, if it is - that's not good for the cord or guitar

Nice, personally I'm not so In to the low, low heights on pickups, top spangly for me personally. However this is his vibe, and he is a great player !

JJN is just killer…. He’s an amazingly guitarist, but the greatest thing is he is just fuckin’ cool. He has no ego and learns from any source he hears that the likes and willing to show his techniques. ….humble… A trait that is disappearing in today’s modern society. I also love that he plays the Epi. Breaks the corksniffer attitude of it HAS to be a Gibson and a Marshall.

Do not entertain buying a Fender GTX 100!. After about 18mths mine went dead. Out of warranty, I took it to a great Amp repairman. Fender Australia does not have spare parts. No modules no boards. The amp is now useless.

I've still got my 1964 cherry red 335 which my parents bought me, brand new for my eighteenth Birthday, from Watkins in Balham, along with the original reciept, its safely stored in the loft and I havent taken it out of the case for about a year now, without looking, and if I remember right it cost around £160, if you're ever in West sussex, come and give it a whirl, it's a real beauty.

Picked up one last year, the truss rod had never been tightened from the factory. I managed to save mine by not attempting to adjust neck till completely detuned. Great guitar beware of the returned sale guitars at the big box. Only mod needed, pickups sit loosely and bounce around when on stage, this can be easily remedied with gap pad. Yes, it's a player

how would you say this compares well (Actually the 20watt model NOT the 50 ) to the Mesa/Boogie California Tweed 6V6 2:20 1x12 Tube Amp Combo ? Remember the mesa is $2,000 approx.

Cheers Matt and thanks so much for a smashing go at this. I've done a few restrings but this has still educated me and I'll embrace your suggestions on my next go round. I especially like setting all the pegs and checking for proper seating before proceeding. A+

Careful when doing this, shaving down the neck might change the natural tone of the guitar.

What’s sad is there’s just been so many reissues when you look at an original, it doesn’t seem as special as it did 30 years ago. When I was a kid, my father took me to Manny‘s and they had one for about $5500 in 1980 and I told my dad to buy this because it’ll be worth a lot of money one day, he bought my a Dean V instead lol😅😅😅
