I actually grudge race a 4th gen Camaro also..you did good yes its better to 1-2 shift in burn outs but a strong trans don't care bout that yes some people do in a stick car do a 2nd gear burn outs but I never did and in a auto car 1st is the strongest gear anyways couse it sees harsher dead hooking or hard 60ft launches. So idn what people be talking bout in these comments.

They aren’t supercharged, they’re L76, which is basically an LS2 with AFM and little less power, the GXP G8s had LS3, but none were supercharged

That’s an 800lb weight advantage. And that cam gives the hp advantage to the catfish. You want to see a real gap? Have them race to see who can change their spark plugs faster!

@@darrelswanson3819 Coming from a person that’s had two g8s they’re not all that fast. GTs hang with R/Ts and 5.7 gto’s nothing above it really. Would I sell my g8? No because I love Pontiac in general especially the g8, drove 500 miles for my second one. Im just speaking facts like it or not 🤷🏾♂️. Go buy one and try to race anything above 400hp and watch it get gapped lol, fun car regardless.
