He said 6061 aluminum, but their website says 7075. Which is it?
So 6k for spot lock 😢
90% commercial
Spot on and timely! It is heating up now, got on a good bite of slob mangroves over the last couple weeks out of big pine. Early morning, Chum, chunking Pinfish, 20# outfits was the ticket
Something I can do in my kayak
how about birth control for humans ?
A very long video but oh my God very informative. Thank you very much

Wow, great presentation. I'm just learning the ropes of fishing down in the Sea of Cortez. I've been a lake and stream fisherman all my life. I bought myself a Mako 171 and I'm loving it. You filled in a lot of information I needed. The water down here has almost reached the temp's for the Dorado (Mahi) to show up but till then trolling for big Cabrilla and Grouper on the points is always productive. Side Note: Today we saw a flock of birds diving on bait with fish slashing through the school. as we were gunning it back to shore after a dismal morning fishing in the fog. We both looked at each other and got rods in the water. We both hooked up to 30+ lb Jack Crevalle. Took over 1/2 an hour to get just one fish finally in the boat, the other got off. Turned a nothing morning into a great day of fishing.
FSF TV is the most informative fishing shows. Captain Mike constantly provide lots of details and explanations. I appreciate the knowledge. Thank You!
I know what you were trying to get across and you nailed it buddy
Great info... thanks
ok, I am a commercial diver with over 20years experience in the northeast usa "this stuff is snake oil" I have a pink algae the is getting in it this season and its a pain in the ass to clean and works as well as NO bottom paint...lol~ I have this client on a 2 week schedule and sad to say it should be done every week! ~~~~~~~~ old school bottom paint works~~~~~~~~ if you are worried about the value of your boat going down do not buy a boat ; )
Wayyyyy too much, in line all the way
Lamest fishing show I have ever watched yikes
Where did you get fresh bait , none is available
No bait fish, larger fish have moved on.
Was just there at conch key, significant issue with no bait fish, a disease is present and has pretty much wiped out the fishery. No live bait available in bait shops. In 3 days caught one shark, 85 foot depth, and one maker Al in the Florida bay. At this point no fish eating chum. Ecological disaster.
Miami n the keys has more then enough fishing spots for me n my $$ stays Locally..
Awsome show!!
Thanks Cap great informative video, on all aspects of slow trolling king mackerel .
Nice Information!!!
Pier trolley rig pier fishing the Carolinas we use primarily three baits. Bluefish, menhaden and pinfish. On the bluefish, I was taught by old timers how to king fish and they used a bluefish up to a couple pounds and I have noticed that the newer crowd thinks they are too big. I tell them, if your release and anchor can hold it, put it on! IMO the pinfish is the best bait though. Hearty, can swim hard all day. But the downside is if the blues are thick as soon as you put one in the water they cut the tail off of them.
It takes a different kind of dedication to become a pier trolley rig king mackerel fisherman. You can go years of trips to the pier and not hook up.
If you find that permit school and you have live crab...110% guaranteed bite
Guaranteed? I guess you haven't fished much.
A spinning rod with an aluminum butt must be so annoying.
Thanks for sharing..
Great content..very good info..Thank for sharing..👍💪💪🥰..subcribed done..
Yeah . I have never seen grab rails on any other boat in my life and I have been fishing for 30 years. Someone should patent Grab rails
Do these stay affixed to the track when horizontal under a hatch underway? I feel like every one would be in the bilge with any sort of chop. Remember we don't all have 40+ft cats. 😂 I love the large nomad tackle roll. Perfect fit for all their plugs. Can spray everything down in the vented bag and leave it hung to dry.
Great show you're the man great tips amazing fish I love it when you see a captain or a mate excited about other people catching fish as much as they were catching it themselves
Permit will slurp up a handpick shrimp also
Great show... And your bride was doing a heck of a job with the jig...
Under the deck theres no air circulation so they will rust/corrode super fast
Shimano Trinidad and ocea jigger are the same reel with a different handle and they make the ocea jigger in a lefty
So, in tournaments, you're not allowed to chum, unless you call it "chunking", then it's ok. 🙄
looks very cool! Mike, can you show how you store deep drop rigs and chicken rigs?
Leave dolphins alone you idiots!
I would saute the mirepoix until the onions are translucent before i added the stock that is just my opinion. My father and I use to make trout head stew. It definitely adds alot of flavor.
Hey brother I live in the keys. Do you guys sell lures? I live in Summerland key
LOL, I just want to know if Capt Mike knows what a schmeckle is. Made me chuckle.
the variety of fish is ridiculous
Wahoooooo!
Quick question Mike, the Rodzilla has a size 4 butt, the screws to lock the reel are not long enough. Is there a place where I can get these screws to be longer? Thanks
I took my boat out there last summer with just a few spots and absolutely killed it!
