When you want to go further on the path of our 1.83m (6ft.+) tall Dutch Valkyrie Queen Floor Jansen(Yansen). Tour at first as their second singer Annette got ill, Floor had just 48 hours to learn the whole setlist. There is a documentary made of this world tour. 'Please learn the setlist in 48 hours Floor joined Nightwish after this iconic Wacken concert in 2013 as permanent member of the band. She even made a video reacting to herself singing Ghost Love Score at Wacken. Lots of technical info and some memories of her starting with Nightwish Also her Fan Friday videos are hilarious. Just unpack some of these and other presents she left on her channel. Also videos of her solo tour she did with songs of her impressive career. Her latest endeavour is her stunning solo album 'My Paragon. Floor is a high sensitive person, so peace and quiet is as important for her. Living by the woods in Sweden with her husband Hannes Van Dahl (drummer of the band Sabaton) daughters Freja (turned 7 years this march) and Lucy (born last october) ,a couple of horses, dogs and cats. It's not just mixing metal and opera. You have to have a vocalist (operative word "vocalist") who can pull it off without electronic aids. Floor is special and a master of her instrument. Check out Tarja's singing this song. Didn't seem like a 10 min song did it? Also, this concert was lightening in a bottle. Great that they did such a professional job capturing it.

I liked but did not subscribe just yet. You can learn to appreciate growling. I did, and I am way older than you. I don't remember my first male growl so it did not shock me very much. Probably Nick Holmes in Paradise Lost. The first female growls I heard did shock me, and changed me. Angela Gossow in Arch Enemy. I still occasionally play their magnificent live concerts from London and Tokyo.
I don't mind growling, like I said, I'm just not a fan of the whole song being growled. I need melody. Death metal, for example, not a fan.

Nighwish Army Finland here. Thank you, Sir, a very nice reaction! Just Nightwish doing Nightwish things! And as you have surely noticed, although they are all outstanding , none of them standout 😍 Nightwish is their own genre and no other band comes close to the level they are at. Never, in the history of music entertainment, have a set of skills and talent collided in such powerful manner. Tuomas is a true genius as a composer and with lyrics and Floor is a Valkyrie Goddess!
Umm the pop up with current Nightwish lineup is missing the founding and reining member Tuomas Holopainen. Not being critical just thinking maybe he should’ve been included 🙂

Un coucou de l'armée NIGHTWISH de France, avec un peu de retard très bonne réaction et analyse à l'écoute du plus grand groupe du monde pour ma part. Vous venez de refaire de nouveau connaissance du métal symphonique et de notre reine Floor, mais vous n'avez qu'effleuré le dessus de l'iceberg et vous n'êtes qu'a l'entrée du terrier de lapin. Je vous souhaite de bons floorgasmes et continuez vos réactions nous serons toujours derrière vous pour vous soutenir pour notre groupe...... Encore plus d'écoutes s'il vous plait...... Merci. Continuez sur le festival du Wacken Open Air 2013, vous êtes sur de ne pas vous tromper, les quinze chansons du set sont des classiques pour tous les fans du groupe et sont à écouter absolument. Vous venez d'écouter la 13ème chanson du set, ensuite faites le Ever Dream qui commence comme une douce ballade voix piano et sur un signe de Marko ( le bassiste ) continue d'accélérer pour finir comme un train à grande vitesse et en même temps de faire la connaissance de la voix de Marko, puis essayez une petite histoire avec Storytime, excellent rock dont le refrain reste longtemps en tête ou alors du plus lourd avec Ghost River pour entendre le mélange magnifique des voix de Floor avec Marko ou encore plus lourd avec Romanticide..... Et je pense que notre ami Gabriel Bardac devait arriver sous peu, ou être déjà passé ( Un grand MERCI à Gabriel d'avoir repris le flambeau de notre regrettée Anne ) cliquez sur son nom et allez sur communauté, vous pourrez suivre sa liste en toute confiance avec les meilleurs mixages à la bonne vitesse et avec le meilleur audio mais ce n'est pas une obligation, juste un sage conseil pour entendre une petite partie du meilleur du groupe. Continuez les filets du groupe sont tendus et il vous sera très difficile de vous en sortir, plus de NIGHTWISH s'il vous plait et bienvenu à vous...... Discovered Nightwish about 6 years ago and they are now right up there with Pink Floyd, Rush and the Steve Hackett era of Genesis. I have yet heard a bad song from them and live is always best. I get what you are saying about growling but discovering bands like Jinger and Opeth I am getting to like it a bit more.
Yeah, I tried Jinger last year. Just wasn't for me. I'm very picky when it comes to metal.

Another soul snatched by the Valkyrie Goddess First singer Tarja was more of a classical singer the 2nd Anette was poppy and The Current singer Floor IS EVERYTHING .
