  In this video there is a shot of the basement featuring a Victorian period elephant commode sitting among some trash. That was my personal contribution, at no cost to the then owner Robert McWhirk, toward the restoration of the building. I am saddened to see it languishing in the flotsam and jetsam of the basement unappreciated and uninstalled. Rather than having a piece of Americana abandoned in a basement the piece should be contributed to the Gibson House Museum where it may be enjoyed by the public. Excellent video most likely filmed as a marketing promotion advert since the building is now for sale. Jeff & Star Barrow obviously utilised a lot of personal resources to create the stunning restoration, remodeling and Victorian reinterpretation. I am a former resident of Woodland and neighbour of the Mansion for 35 years and restored a similar historic house on the same street.
