DownshiftPass

Welcome to DownshiftPass! My name is Chad & this channel was created to bring you comprehensive reviews of new cars, used cars, and just any car I can get my hands on! I love cars and I LOVE to drive, it is a passion of mine, which is why my videos are all set to a "Point Of View" (POV) format, so you can get a feel of the car alongside me, while enjoying the scenery of wherever in the world I may be recording!!

Driving at night is something that relaxes me and riding in the car at night, soothes me like no other, so when possible a night drive of the car I review will also be posted, be sure to enjoy that!!

Want me to review your car ? Send me a message on Instagram: @downshiftpass

I watched your video on the acura rdx front wheel drive. Question when you had it sport plus mode did you have the transmission in (D) or (S).

Sorry to say your tailgate needs alignment @ 31:06 the right side moves left when it closes. Get service to sort that out before it damages paint 👍

Pretty good video. I've had my 2024 XSE for about a week and didn't know it had the remote start function. You do need to be pretty close the vehicle but still, nice to have in the winter to give the engine a 30 second warm up before getting in it at home. One question: "The glove compartment isn't lined with felt but it is damp." Did you say damp? That's what I heard and that's what the CC types out. What did you mean to say?

Fantastic video! Thank you for the in-depth detail. I test drove the LX and loved it! I'll be test driving the sport to see which one I will buy! It was this or the Toyota Camry, but I didn't feel comfortable driving the Camry even though it was a more beefier car. There was something about it that felt off, and I always go with my gut, so I'm keeping with the Honda. I'll be sure to check out your other videos! ✌🏼🤍

The MDX does not have a LAUNCH mode what was done in this video is called power breaking. My comment is only to inform not to criticize. It is how the driver can lock up the toque converter and load the drive line. It helps a little but in some computer controlled cars it can slow down off the line or in gear head terms THE HOLE SHOT. Still a great sounding video I did enjoy it . Thank you Type S owner also .

Fyi, the 2024 no longer has the rear vents. I was really disappointed to see that. That said, the new interior is really nice.

Thank you for the review. I am going from a 2018 Honda Accord LX to a 2020 Honda Accord Sport 1.5 with 10k miles for $25k with one owner and no red flags on the CarFax report. Again, thank you for the thorough review especially the sound system.

Nice review, very informative. While this is nicely optioned, I'm leaning for the Advanced trim, which has some of the additional features I've grow accustom to. Still torn between the 4 or 6 cylinder engines, not so much for the power, but the few different little things that the 3.5T brings to the table.

@@SmokyOkilla the ones who talk trash have obviously not driven the 2024 ecoboost, I have just driven both the Q50 and the EcoBoost and it's night and day difference the Q50 is overpriced at over $50,000 and the interior is like 90s and also slower than the Mustang
