I like miniature things- but most of all, miniature houses. This is a channel devoted to scratchbuilding miniature things using accessible materials like fiber board, cardboard, foam, polymer clay, and stuff you'd recycle like that plastic packaging that is filling up the earth.

Teddy was a nice touch. Great vid
Thank you! Yeah I’m grateful to Bill for having that challenge, it was a great opportunity to see a bunch of creators make weird bots 🙂
The bigbot challenge is the best ❤
i love your videos thank you for making them they are SO cozy and It is so fun to listen to you talk in the narrations, feels like being around a friend rambling <3 and you do beautiful work too !
Haha thank you, I’m glad you enjoy my rambling 😊 Thank you for watching!
Very cool build!
Thank you!!
Love this one. The books sound amazing, think I might need to give them a go. Looking forward to part 2!
Thank you! It’s a great series, the first one is the best but they’re all good silly fun.
Can't wait for the big finish!
Me neither 😄
@@LittleTreeMinis 😂
Really really cool project 😊😊😊
Love the stop motion in the beginning 😊😊😊 Definitely incredible details far in this build. Can’t wait to see more ❤😊❤
Thank you!! It just about broke my editing software to do it 😀 Thanks for watching!
@@LittleTreeMinis you are welcome 🤗 Glad it didn’t completely give out!
You should put in a character like Doug Ratman from portal
Man I haven’t played portal in an eternity… is he the character you’re playing? That’d be quite the portal jump into another universe hehe
A lady wizard i called a wizard. :)
Ha okay, good to know 😃
I think that top corner could use some stained glass.
Ooh stained glass, yes! I’ve been trying to find a technique that I like.
@@LittleTreeMinis Well hopefully you do it, so I can watch and learn from you.
Oh man, pressure. We’ll see I guess!
@@LittleTreeMinis yep. Sorry to do that to you. My bad.
I like clear plastic with coloured sharpies for the glass and black for the lines. Not perfect but looks pretty good.
I love your stop motion.
Whoa a Flight of the Navigator reference! 😁 The build looks cool so far. I like how you just did not paint the parts of bottles that became windows.
Haha yeah probably don’t see many FOTN references these days 😋 The window thing just made sense, thanks for watching!
Great build! I found you through the big bot bash tag and I'm glad I did. I'm also glad you're a fellow jute enjoyer for grasses, it's such a great material.
Yea! Jute is really underrepresented in this craft 🙂 Thanks for watching!
Adorbsies!!
So cute! I'm loving all the little details and your narration!
Thank you for watching, and for appreciating it without scripted narration which seems too hard ☺️
I love this! So tiny and cute! And you are ridiculously talented! And super funny!
Thank you, I appreciate you watching 😊
This was so much fun! I cannot believe that you built this in such a teeny tiny scale! Also I have not stopped giggling about the gnome toilet! And you’re right, Dots do make it extra fancy😂 I’m gonna go subscribe and then I’m gonna watch the first video. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us!
Thanks so much for watching! I feel like I’ve given more thought and energy to gnome toilets and gnome plumbing than any reasonable person should, it’s too hilarious and fascinating at the same time not to 😋
@@LittleTreeMinisit is the perfect amount of time 😂 In the middle of the night I started giggling again and then I wondered if gnomes eat meat Or just fruits and berries and then they don’t have to worry about anything because they are already pooping compost 😂😂😂
Haha you are correct actually, they do not eat meat so their poo should already be very composty. I didn’t even get into all the technical details about their sewer setup and the speculation we had about gnome poop, but we came to the same conclusion about their poo, deciding it was probably similar to bunnies’😆
@@LittleTreeMinis 😂😂😂 That’s great!
Hello Kitty Megan! I love this whole project... and the scene looks so adorable in that jar! To me that white felt made it perfect. I'm ecstatic you don't mind "old people"... because I am one and you'll be one too someday (if all goes well). Back in the 70s, I had matches for my fireplace like your long ones. One of my "treasures" is my grandma's tin match holder. It hung on the wall next to her wood stove back when she was young and that was her "cook stove" on the farm. She even repainted it once or twice over the years. You could slide one of those big boxes of wooden matches into it and the matches would sit in the opening ready to be used. I don't think I explained that well... but it looks good and still would work if I needed wooden matches to light a wood stove.
I can picture it perfectly, I’ve never seen anything to hold long matches like that but you’ve been around a bit longer than me 😉 It sounds neat though, I love little things like that. My aunt had a tiny cast iron wood stove that was a little bigger than dollhouse scale, and you could lift off the burner cover things and it had little pots and the door on the front opened and closed. That’s my fond wood stove memory 🥰
@@LittleTreeMinis That little stove sounds awesome! I love little things too.
I'm an old lady (mid-70s) and I was mid-old (40s) when I played SimCity.... on my SNES. Still have the machine and the game and they still work. Your little representation turned out very cute and I like it... mistakes and all.
Oh wow you still have it, that’s awesome! I’m glad you liked my version, it was a very sentimental journey 😊
Although I couldn't find the exact photo you have, I believe the man in your picture is Terry Thomas (B 1911 - D 1990). Yes, he was British... an actor, mostly comedy. I love your cat, Megan, helping you with your crafting. I also loved this build for your little "bot". He and his dog are now "living the good life".
Oof I’m not sure @2craftyseniors the guy in the pic doesn’t have much of a widow’s peak, but that Terry Thomas guy has a really prominent one. I can’t decide, they look really similar 🥸 Thanks for commenting though, that’s the best answer I’ve got so far to this little mystery 😋 You’re right, bot and dog are set for life 😸 Thanks for watching!
I have that book. I bought it in the 70s. Didn't know that tv show was based on it, but that's cool. I enjoyed your first video... and was loving your kitty helping you... as well as how you are building this little house. Thank you.
Thank you! It’s a really neat book, I’m excited to hear a few people watching this video have run across it in their lives. Megan is a very good helper 😺
This turned out awesome!
No silicon heaven? Preposterous! Where would all the calculators go?
Good point… they must all go to the big recycling bin in the sky ♻️
Very cool, one of my favorites from this challenge/series.
Thank you, glad you liked it 😸
"maybe I'm a failure" me every craft project haha
Haha me too 😂
I love the little furnishings and random stuff!!
Thank you! I’m a big fan of your creations as well!
@LittleTreeMinis thanks! I have to say that toilet is just luxurious! We all need a little magic to combat carbon monoxide poisoning!
Haha yes, let’s to deploy magic for protection against all poisonings while we’re at it. I’m not sure what the constraints are in gnome magic, it’s quite unclear unfortunately. I need a deeper source of gnome lore.
@@LittleTreeMinis 😄 gnomes are a mysterious lot for sure..
Love it!!! 🥰
Oh my god!!! This book was my childhood, it's so amazing to see it come to life❤
It’s a really neat book, I’m glad you liked my version 😊
Wow! Your attention to detail is amazing!!!!
Thank you! It’s all about those little details 🙂
Thank you for the shout out! This build turned out fantastic :)
You’re welcome and thank you! 😋
"It's not very hard to make something really cute out of clay -you don't have to be particularly talented..." Says someone who's REALLY talented. Clay is HARD, man. xD
I think to make something really professional and polished out of clay is hard, and I totally fail at that. But to make something that is passable is not so hard, in my opinion 😉
Nice! Looks like a quality self composting gnome toilet. Perfect for a gnome.
Because you wondered if moss grew underground, I did too. It does! And this one ‘Schistostega pennata’ also called goblin gold, glows green in the dark! Thank you!
Ooh that’s awesome, I want some of that goblin gold! 😀
The thing you call a gnome hookah looks like a tyrolean pipe also this was really good and entertaining I loved the gnome knowledge I have gained😅
Wow I did not know there were so many different kinds of pipes, you’re right, it does look like one of those tyrolean ones. Glad you liked it and learned some valuable gnome knowledge 🙂
@@LittleTreeMinis your welcome I just learned about them recently as well because bilbo smokes from one in the 1977 animated hobbit movie😁
Oh haha nice 👍🏻
This is wonderful! I love all the details. Beadbot needed a house, and you provided!
Thank you! 😸
I really wanted to watch all you video, but i just cant . Its the only word pronunciation that makes me want to scream the more i hear o It. Its not your fault x but Its Shamen nor sharrman Aaaaaaghhhhhh 😮 So forwarding to the end OMG your works awesome 👌 x
That’s so funny, I went back and listened to myself say it but I don’t hear this R that you hear. I guess my accent is different, I say it like a white lady from the western US, most unfortunate I know 😝
Nice work, i like that large turquoise monocle under the hood
Amazing bot build! I enjoyed the "glitched" bot religion idea. Overall the guy looks great and the little details like the Teddy Bear as a religious icon are hilarious and fun! Great work and thanks for the video!
Thank you, I appreciate it! I thought the teddy bear was just a teddy bear, but I see it is so much more now!
looks great
👏👏👏
The stop animation is wonderful! Thanks for making your bead bots and their dog a home :) my kids love it!
That’s so cool! I’m glad they’re into it, thanks for watching 😊
Noice 👌
Thanks! I love how yours turned out as well, I dig those pleeaying (sp) ballerina legs 😆
That pony head was definitely from a kids eraser. I had them when i was little and you could take them apart
Oh yeah that makes sense, it kinda felt like that when I lopped off the back of it. Mystery solved, nice!
that diceneeds to be checked... suspicious. Thx for the vid.
Maybe I’m just a high roller… 😎
Thanks for sharing your amazing talent. I love the bead bot you created. It is seriously cool. 😎👍🔥🔥🔥❤️
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it, I think it turned out pretty cool also, although it now sits on my desk and stares into my soul.
Oh no... last video! :O
Never!
Wow amazing scratch build. Love that you can look at it and my imagination just goes wild. Awesome art too!
Thank you on both points! 🙂
Really loved this whole video, and the gnome house too! Thanks to Y/T for recommending it, hope it gets lots of attention…skritches for Megan, the supervisor 🩵
Megan is grateful for the skritches, thanks for watching! 😺
I really enjoyed this, what a fantastic robot. I've subbed and I am looking forward to your future builds 👍
Thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed it, I hope I don’t disappoint 😋
That looks so good 😮 thank you for the inspiration! I'm just starting out in the hobby so these videos are great!
Oh that’s so exciting! Good luck on your new craft journey 🙂
